I know. It makes me mad how cute they are. When Mombie lets them live, I would be thinking you need food. Just kill them. However, when I run into them I let them live unless they swing. Yesterday I had about 10 food and let one live because it started 2 calling. lol.

It makes me want to squish them

in my opinion the controls are quite well, I even love to judge by the opponents reaction. but I dislike that clones aren't reliable as soon as there is water, a building, a rock or anything else which blocks them

@@da.mombie i think i remember one of the devs mentioning that dilo's hallucinations will eventually include fake deinosuchus (for when the envenomated tries to find safety via water), and fake pteras (for when the envenomated tries to find safety via jumping onto something dilos can't climb), and maybe other things too!

stego isn't unbeatable at all. specially a group good of players can be a very dangerous. carno is probably the worst to go for stego, but, as you saw, even they can manage it if they are coordinated. which is the downside. you barely meet such groups

I thought so too at the start. I didn't think they'll have to come close again and the clones will kill me anyway. but, now that I know and with a better sight (the first 5 mins were black only), you should stand a chance even without water. I guess, 2-3 dilos should be a good fight. even in the open

I played yesterday two hours and today as well. I have mixed feelings. yes, the lighting is much better, but nope, I still need NV during dark cloudy weather at daylight. the new flowers are really beautiful tho and specially in the jungle area they make it feel so more alive, as you said. totally with you on that one

@@da.mombie really? Thats unfortunate, for me I was able to see really well. With beipi's underwater nv I noticed a huge difference

@@shedskinn it's for sure much better now, but, I had a dark cloudy morning (9am) and couldn't see much without NV in the jungle anyway, I am still happy, I just expected more

Seriously?!?! I am so excited about that. Im not a young man anymore and i have been unable to play at all at night because i cant see and it strains my eyes too much. That is extremely good news

@@thelastpirate1906 it's much better, specially during the day. but, also a night (even if the sky looks weirdly blue at times). but, they also said that they aren't happy with the night by now and it will get further developed. anyway tho, better than we have in the actual update

I played some hours on the horde test meanwhile. it's much better, the nights aren't perfect yet, but, in general the lighting is way more enjoyable

I will play more on it and will make a video for friday out of it. the new lighting looks quite well at some parts, but still too dark at other parts. so, I have mixed feelings to be honest. a good step, but still far from perfect the quality of life changes are very nice tho. specially the scenting while trotting for herbs as you mentioned

thx mate ♥ yeah, I didn't see anything at the start and didn't know that fake dilos don't apply venom, so, I thought I am done anyway. later on, when the sight got better I regretted a lot of my decisions honestly, I didn't think I will be able to sit long enough to get a swing back. I thought I am just a few bites from death at that point, but, yeah, could have been an option anyway, I learned a lot and it was fun yes, but, I am only in parts happy. during sunlight and normal clouds it looks much better. during heavy rain it's still way too dark. so, we still need NV during a day storm, which makes me pretty angry to be honest. I was hoping they will fix it, but again, just half the job done ^^ yeah, the night sky has a strange blue in it. but, that bothers me less than the NV during a day storm. that really annoys me a lot

@@da.mombie The trick is Mombie to make them think you are out of stam by pretending you are, so they get overconfident and come in. Also a other trick is when you smell and hold it. They can't see what direction you are looking and will swing while you can look around at all sides.

thx mate, but, I don't like that. I really hope they will fix this. imo it's pretty unfair that dilos ability gets absolutely useless as soon as there is water or just a building nearby

we all started once but yeah, there are for sure better tactics vs stego

was a good ending. I learned a lot and it showed once again, the new stam is much better. with the old stam I would have killed that last dilo pretty likely thx, glad you like it

I was jumping down there as herra once and survived. then hypsi and survived as well. at that moment I thought, I will try to jump down there with every dino. well, galli, beipi and stego died others remain to be seen

@@itsmanddy6591 honestly, I prefer playing juvie stego to playing adult anyway. in my opinion stego gets quite boring as adult. I play herbs defensive only and almost nobody attacks you as adult anymore

@@da.mombie jau, da bin ich raus.. hatte aber gute kämpfe so um die 40-50%... da machts echt bock, weil die anderen merken, dass wenn die getroffen werden, dass es trotzdem weh tut... war ja bei dir und den ceras auch xD

@@Animaguz22018 juvie stego wird oft total unterschätzt. darum macht es ja so viel spaß. ansonsten würden einen eh keiner mehr angreifen

northeast? or did they remove even more? I am so confused with them anyway. each dino has very different ones. some just one, others even 6-7 or so ^^

I mean no dino can spawn in northeast plains

@@corey2629 yeah, northeast is completely gone. but, who knows, it might return. I don't think these are the final spawn areas anyway

es sind keien meerestiere geplant. zumindest keine spielbaren. sie haben jedoch gesagt, dass sie vielleicht mal ein solches DLC anbieten werden, aber erst nachdem das spiel fertig ist. also nicht vor 4-5 jahren

Semiaquatische Dinos würden sich perfekt dafür eignen, wie z.B. Spino oder Deino. Wäre schön wenn die Inseln quasi die Brutstätte von semiaquatischen Dinos werden würden.

yeah, mostly bugfixes, quality of life changes and the lighting. no dibble tho

I played the horde test meanwhile and it's much better. not 100% perfect (in my opinion), yet much better

stego is brutally strong. you have to keep in mind, when I fought those ceras, I was just at 15-20% growth or so as adult stego a cera/carno is onehit. the biggest difference between the isle and PoT is how easy you die. in PoT almost nothing is onehit and you can always fall back. as utah you can easily attack a stego and if you get hit, then you just fall back. in the isle you are dead if you get hit just once.

yes, it's a nice country to live. we have a quite good standard of living and a beautiful nature. we ain't have a sea tho, which is pretty sad, as I love the ocean people wise it's like every country. many friendly people, but also many fools

ooh cool I played galli and found lots of other players because they wanted to explore the map sadly could only stay till 80% and did'nt get to explore the new area's or nest which was my goal.😥But I think that they made growth quicker at least for galli.

@@9-Rapter-9 yeah, I played pachy and full adult within less than two hours. so, I also think they changed it again the lighting is beautiful and so is the new northwest

I don't mind how others play. I enjoy playing stego my way and no jerk will take that fun away from me. no matter how weird they play this poor giant

I am already happy that clones don't apply venom. I really thought I am helpless anyway at the start. I thought they will spam them till I die. but, they had to apply more venom after a while, so, I think it's quiet fair after all. the most annoying was the sight, which got better in the end, but the first 5 minutes were nothing but awful to play

@@da.mombie I don't think they are quite so bad as stego can tank hits before players have to come back but other dino fall victim to AI and I don't care for that in PVP scenario, myself. I too look forward to NV change. I don't even want to play stego now as it's virtually blind at night or in storms.

@@WebberAerialImaging true, the likes of teno and even smaller are quite messed up after they become purple. on the other hand, they can jump on a rock or something to avoid them. which is quite bad for dilo, because the venom isn't very reliable right now. water, rocks, even buildings can make them useless

As far as I understood the clones are visual represantation of the damage from the venom. In my opinion that's pretty nice.
