11:33 with the lack of global chat, it's amazing how evrima players learn to figure out what other species want to say through nonverbal communication. It took a bit for me to realize that the teno wanted you to dive into the river to check for crocs before crossing 😅
as you saw, I also didn't notice immediately what it wanted, but, like you said, somehow you always find a way to communicate. personally I like that kind of communication very much and don't miss the global chat at all anymore. even the opposite, I am quiet happy that they got rid of it meanwhile
Hi Mombie! That teno at the end of the video was me! I've struggled with rubberbanding a lot during the fight 😅 I wanted to protect you and move to the mz asap but… yeah, right after you died a random herrera has joined the fight, and with the help of that pesky omni finished me as well… Anyway, gg! I’m so happy to be in one of your videos! ❤ Good luck with the new job!
hey ♥ me buddy for life was very nice to meet you and no worry, you did so great. I started to feel bad, because I thought your blood will drain from all the running to protect me. sad to hear they got you too in the end. but, I enjoyed our time very much, even if we died
Likewise! It has really been fun and that’s what it’s all about. I hope we can play together again soon ❤ Keep up the good work, your content is great and we can all see that you put your heart into your videos 🦕 Buddies for life 🤩
the lighting is really beautiful and the new flowers, trees and so on make the whole map more realistic and nice to watch. it isn't perfect yet, as I really think the shadows are still WAY too dark, but, it's for sure a very good step
@@Kemylicious I always finish a video, watch it for the last quality control and then I think about a title that fits. which in this case were the devs, as I mentioned them twice in the video. of course I want to make titles which animate people to click on it, but, you will never read a title like "I played the isle and that's what happened" or any of that nonsense clickbait titles. so, I don't feel like I am clickbaiting
that's my point. people go crazy for nothing. for something dondi said in a stream. this dude says so many things for so many years now. it's already ridiculous to take what he showed in the stream serious. but, even more ridiculous that many people down voted the game on steam for something which most likely will look completely different to what he showed or which might never be implemented at all. parts of the isle community are nothing but hysterical ^^
You know, people might hate on mixpacking, but in situations like with you and the teno, I’m sure they could make an exception. ‘Twas the wonders of rubberbanding with brought forth the tragic downfall of the duo. Good video tho mombie
thx mate ♥ yeah, as you know, I have my very own view about mixpacking anyway I really hope the rubberbanding won't return to the game. I will go crazy if so
Situations like that I don’t mind and actually encourage since it makes sense realistically as well. What most people have a problem with is in combat situations where you’d have a stego-carno group kos’ing everything in sight, a deino protecting some dilos from a solo cera, etc.
yeah, the horde test has some performance issues and you could also see during the fight that this omni always bit far away from me. so, it was obvious that one of us has a very bad ping
The one thing I like and hate about both The Isles and DBDs devs (more so the latter) is that they do something very unnecessary, but at the very least thhey change it back. I mean, if those are the camera "changes" they made, than they wasted viable development time, sicne it did nothing lol. Also, holy fuck, what were those hitboxes in the fight with the omni, it reminded me of legacy.
this weren't the changes anyway. people just told me beneath my last videos, that there was a cam change. I didn't even notice to be honest. I just wanted to blame the part of the community which goes so often crazy for no reason. the fact that they down voted the game on steam made me pretty angry. in my opinion they can all leave the game. I don't need them. go and play another game, the isle won't miss those kind of people. yeah, the performance on the test server was very bad that day, but, as you saw, the queue was pretty full and this also effects the server
yeah, but I knew it. you just had to watch where these omni tried to bite me before. it was always far away when it tried to bite. so, I knew one of us (or both) has a very bad ping. still, the last pounce was even a little more far than I thought. whatever tho, was a fun and silly fight anyway
@@AmeeraTanoMama the horde test server has a huge queue of people who want to join. I really hope the rubber banding is because of that and won't coem into the update again
yeah, I also think this view was bugged. because at other parts of the map I only had the NV beneath the water and never saw things on land and even more not from that far. but, you know, it was still a good thumbnail
@@renem.4249 yeah, but, I guess these words can be difficult with youtube. even if I think you spell it a little differently anyway. isn't it written with a W at the start?
How do you keep yourself interested in the isle during droughts of content in game? I ask in the most positive manner! ❤ i love your videos btw and even when I take haitus from the game I always still watch!
thank you ♥ there are a few reasons. first of all I love that you never know what happens. each session is slightly different. the fact that I play each dino also helps. for example, I enjoy herra a lot right now, but, only play it once within about 3-4 weeks (video rhythm), so, I am always very happy when I can play it again. last but not least my videos themselves. I love doing them and so I also play some sessions even if I am not that motivated to play the game. therefore, getting footage to be able to make another video is also a motivation which drives me so, to be totally honest, without my videos I would've probably made one or two breaks of the game within the last 3 years, too
The lighting is amazing the only thing i will say during storm visibility and my fps go out the door before this i was getting like maybe 50-60 during storms in hotspot now my game starts stuttering and barely hitting 20 fps idk wtf goes on during storms but it needs to stop this is ridiculous
I get that it was meant to be ironic but it can be hard to find The Isle content that isn't filled with cultural bitterness at the devteam and for my peace of mind I try to avoid it. I almost skipped this video even though I love your videos! Just a heads up on how title choices like this could be perceived (you're free to do whatever you like, if you don't find this anecdote helpful feel free to disregard I don't mind at all, I just share in case it is info you're interested in)
thx mate ♥ yeah, was a funny mistake after all. but, I was so confused, because I thought people speak about the worst devs part of the title first I love many food
I've never played Beipi, but I've played every other one. I should give it a try. I like the lines in the NV. They remind me of Sonar. I have a question. The first Beipi you ran into and then invited, did you say you were leaving or anything? Or are you getting so good with edits that I failed to notice one?
nope, I just left to be honest. we met, said hello, he/she jumped in the lake and swam in this direction and I swam in the other. something I barely do, but yet sometimes. specially if I want to do things I have in mind for the video. like exploring new areas or abilities of the update/horde test or whatever. you should give it a try. beipi is fun to play. no big fighter, yet very fun
@@da.mombie Lol, that's what it looked like, and I was thinking the same thing you just said: that you barely do that. I didn't mean anything by the question. I was just curious, and I probably will give beipi a try. It looks fun. Nothing that would be my go-to dino, but occasionally.
I don't think so too, but, people told me beneath my last videos that they did. as I said, I barely notice a difference, IF there is one at all anyway, these people just told me that. they are nice people and not those I addressed in the video. but, I am sick of the hysterical community which even down voted the game on steam recently. those people who tell me at EVERY update that the devs ruin the game. every little change is like the biggest fail at all. changes in an ALPHA game!!!! as if any of this changes would be final ^^ sry for me ranting here, but I can't hear all that nonsense anymore and even if I am no fan of dondi myself, I start to understand why he is so rude at times. just because this community has so many idiots within it's ranks. don't get me wrong, parts of the community are some of the nicest people around, but, other parts are ignorant and selfish people who don't even know what alpha means ^^
In all honesty I’m not sure they already included the camera changes they discussed a while ago. If they did, then they’re not the ones that were shown by Dondi (tbh, the view didn’t change at all so…), and if this is the case you should actually thank the community that replied really negatively to those non sense changes rather than laughing at that community, as if you were superior. If you didn’t say anything but did not like the camera proposed changes, then you should thank the community, if you didn’t like them and said something about it, then you should anyway thank the community and if you did like the changes originally proposed (so not these in the video) then you could say you would have preferred those changes to be included. I really dislike the attitude of the majority of the Isle RU-vidrs who constantly feel superior to the player base. I know in some occasions the community can be a bad one, like every community in human history, but that’s not an excuse to constantly laugh at the community (which is also presumably part of the same people who watch your videos). Particularly, in this case where you blame the community for criticising something that did not turn to be as bad as predicted, as I said, you should probably thank them instead because through those critics the devs probably understood that the camera system proposed was a bad idea. This doesn’t mean in the future we won’t see that bad camera system anyway unfortunately
sorry mate, I follow this game and the community for too long to take them serious anymore. thank the community? what for? for down voting the game on steam? no sir, for sure not. these people are nothing but conceited people who think the game is just designed for them. I couldn't care less about them. I do youtube videos, yes, but that doesn't make me more important than any other player. I am just ONE out of many players with their own opinion. the difference is, I don't think the game has to be completely designed as I wish it to be. this community was split from the very beginning. everyone thinks he/she is the majority, but, that couldn't be more far from truth. so again, no, there is nothing to thank at all. much more you have to blame all of those "I am the community" and if they don't do it my way then I spread hate about them people out there. shame on them, no thanks
@@da.mombie I didn’t even know that ppl downvoted the game on steam, as I don’t really follow the debate because I’m busy with other stuff. But to be honest with you, a game is exactly designed for the players, what else then? If devs designed something that players didn’t want then they wouldn’t be able to sell the game and hence they wouldn’t even be able to make a living out of creating games , so don’t really understand the logic behind your statement. I can be with you that you don’t like the community as it is now, that is perfectly fine…but your statement doesn’t seem to have a solid logical base tbh…and also, for the camera system, the same community that you (and at times me as well) dislike also commented negatively the camera system probably influencing the decision to not include it for now. As you can see not all the ppl in a community are the same, there’s a bad and a good part. I can be with you that as of now the bad part is prominent, but as an Isle RU-vidr you have a viewer base because of the community you dislike so much, so probably not all of them are that bad, don’t you think?
There is a minority of people that want to see the game burn if they don't get their way, really sours discussions around this unique game, people can be incredibly selfish @@HBweisse
@@HBweisse Sorry but the fact that the community dislike the future camera changes has no impact on the decision of the devs to change it, the only reason it hasn't been released yet is because what dondi showed us was a prototype. So it's far from being finished. And the devs already said this was going to come and they will see once in game how it feels and not change their project because of people being angry at something not finished and not released. So caméra changes are going to happen in the future thats for sure, how is it gonna change is left to be determined BY THE DEVS. I completly agree with Mombie there is nothing to thanks the Isle community for. Devs are making THEIR games, not the one of the community. The community is build by the game not the contrary. So yeah some change might not be liked by some people and so?
the long nights are gone and the stam is very nice as well. that said, certain dinos still suffer a lot and have to be further adapted for the new stam. like ptera for example. but, the devs are aware of it and it will be also fixed someday. in general I prefer the new stam to the old tho. even a lot
@@Shuttle187 yeah, then I understand you. ptera has a really tough time right now. it was hit the most by the stam changes and didn't recover much by now
rubber banding is when you run and suddenly you are 1 meter back again in between. so, like when a rubber band pulls you back. this can happen once or even a couple of times, it can pull you back 1 meter or even 10. depending on how bad it is. this is a server problem. on the horde test we had a little rubberbanding recently. at both scenes I mentioned it, you can see it shortly before the speak bubble appears.
if you didn't see it before, then you didn't see me pachy video XD it's at the volcano. you can see the coordinates here ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-iVsA861YiQY.html
I didn't care for the disappearing grass trick. I'm sure i'd get used to it in time. I guess it doesn't look that way to the larger dino that's chasing you? I'm terrible at stam management with Beipi. I seldom play it though as it doesn't seem to have a place, for me. I'm not generally on long enough for nesting and don't find much else to do. I wonder how much bleed that alt attack does to the raptor? Freddy Kruger Cobra Chicken should be dangerous 😈
yeah, I think this is just for the little ones. specially troodon will profit from it, I guess beipi's stam is awful in my opinion. specially in water. but, this might be on purpose to force us more often on land. dunno I don't know the bleed either, but, in general it does many damage for such a little creature
@@anguyetnguyen1572 honestly, I am pretty sad because liverpool might have blow up what could have been an amazing last season for klopp, so, I didn't care much about city or real recently
@@da.mombie also i might have already asked about this but do you have a discord server would be nice to use all the Mombie emojis thay we see in the videos
mombie, what setting do i adjust to see underwater as you, someone said it was nvidia control panel, but theres alot of stuff there i dont wanna touch without confirmation and or being told what exactly im adjusting. everyone just says oh the devs planned it, but yours is perfect. how?
