1:50 The only issue with bucking is that it uses way too much stam, what's the point of shaking off the first Omni if I'm gonna be out of stam and helpless after doing so. Specially for larger animals, bucking should take less stamina than running so they can actually keep defending themselves after bucking instead of making everything in the game into Omni fodder.
Exactly lol funny you just saw my video where the same thing happened. Bucking isnt a complicated thing its quite literally just “hey get off me” so it should waste the predators stamina and not as much of yours if any. Even if it didn’t waste any stam to buck being pounced would be dangerous due to the bleed, which makes you want to move around less, which makes it less risky for the already stamina-drained raptor(s) that pounced you. Aka its a pretty fair trade depending on the situation.
@@dtbrex08 Precisely, specially since when there is a pack of Omnis if one uses up it's stam the rest can cover for it until it rests, it's almost like, by design, it's not expected for people to be able to survive being attacked by Omni packs. Also hello there m8 how you doin ?

Its mostly little kids in the discord bugging them like they are asking their parents for an xmas gift. Its the big thing i hate about gaming, the internet and social media. Im the first generation to truly grow up playing games and am now an older adult still playing, the kids really ruin it all and hijack everything. Plus they are so immature they end up buying into really bad practices, forcing really bad practices and just wasting everyones time with thier lil monkey brains. A part of me wants them locked out of social medua alltogether another part of me just wants a company to make games strictly for adults and lock them out with id requirements and such.
will be nice to see the allo come out, since the rex and trike wont be available on official servers, it could fill an niche as the isle top predator land predator for a time, a seat thats been held by the carno for a long time now on evrima.
I’m just glad there doing allosaurus everything else doesn’t really matter since the game still sucks but I will play it once allo comes then leave for another few months like I’m doing now 😅💀
U can see in that video, that they are already in hard work for the next update (playables) thats coming after this ht. Since the animation foundation for allo is set with omni etc. i think its realy close to being released. Maybe During summer if we have luck.
They change out the official Isle discord link from time to time. Pretty sure the one I got was in the in game menu next to all the social media buttons early access indy studios seem to drop in their games nowadays. Even Deep Rock Galactic hides their active discord links inside their in-game community feature so it feels like the lore. As for the devs, they don't seem to keep their replies in one channel, so a lot of us just let Saphir sort through all the replies and especially sorting out no substance hype replies from the ones with actual definitive answers from the devs and highlight little developmental art and gif nuggets they officially release there from time to time. Kissen has been pretty active today even as I type this, teasing indirectly about Elder animations unique to the ones that hit that age, but also trying to keep that one under wraps from fan hype as that one isn't close to being fully ready yet.
The devs really need to get a PR person because most of them don't know how to interact with the community. Also, their transparency would be nice. Instead of saying "this is a very difficult game to create," just be honest and say "we don't have the skillset to make this simple game." Filipe is a smooth brain, probably the dumbest person I've ever seen.
It would be nice if half of their answers didn't belittle the person asking the question. They're trying too hard to appear professional, but instead, it just makes them look immature.
There is nothing simple about the creation of this game. A lot of what they are doing has never been done before in any genre of game. If you think its so easy, make a similar game yourself. Many have already tried and failed. And calling someone a 'smooth' brain is not a very good reflection on yourself, for sure.
This game doesn't need more dinosaurs. It's what the playerbase wants, but they really need to focus on performance and the hacking issue. Those are way more prominent in importance than adding more dinos that take years to animate and that players get bored of playing in a few days.
