Great video...your 612th subscriber! what's the average cost per person if I want to travel minimalistic and explore Scotland? Is it crowded? Are we allowed to randomly explore different hills where there are no people..?

Never ever take a stinking bus tour. Adventurous clogs get a hire car... get a small cooler for ice, drinks cheese and such, a few fold out chairs and when you see a beautiful spot stop....google it and discover for yourself without smellie noisey folks... a map to get your bearings. Scotts love to talk and tell you all you need to know!🤗😉😊

The Outer Hebrides is a great place to be and see. I brought a gas moped and hop scotched the islands... ferry into Stornaway, Isle of Lewis, Harris, Usit, Benbecula down to Barra... Incredible beaches...take the ferry back to Oban which is a beautiful and historic town to see and experience. Shepherds pie and a pint of Guinness by the bay!😊 Cheers...

thank you so much! we went to scotland in late may/early june and the weather was great -- i think the only better time to go would be september for the weather! you will love it no matter what time of year, though :)

Where was Dunvegan Castle in your video of Skye. It is one of the major “must see” sites on Skye. Very disappointing!!

loved your vlogs. i´m going to skye next may, just wondering: when you guys took the bus from inverness to Portree, did it stopped at kyle intentionally? or did youtake another ride to portree? thank you

hi mafalda! so sorry it took me so long to respond to you! the bus stopped at kyle no matter what, as a way for everyone to have a bathroom break/stretch their legs a bit. the same bus took us into portree as well. definitely recommend doing it this way, it was super simple and not too expensive! have SO much fun when you go on your trip, it will be amazing :)

hi robert, thanks for watching! we used 'skye minibus tours'. our tour guide has lived on skye his whole life and gave a phenomenal tour and we really felt like we saw SO much of the island in just one day. enjoy your time there - it is absolutely stunning. here is their website: www.skye-minibus-tours.co.uk/ hope this helps!
