The Isles of Kirkibost and Baleshare were once one island, but in the 1500s, a huge storm washed a channel between them. Today, Kirkibost is uninhabited and Baleshare only has a handful of occupied houses, but both are two of the most beautiful islands in the Outer Hebrides
