The Italian Maid was the seventh episode of the fourth series of Hancock's Half Hour broadcast of Friday 6th Feb 1959. The episode was never seen again because the BBC wiped it. Its a bit like Shakespeare's plays being destroyed in 1620 to use as wrapping paper for stewing steak because the butcher ran out of mince pies.
However the soundtrack WAS discovered in 2017 and there are some photographic stills of the actors in the actual film studio in existence. I have taken it upon myself to try and restore the episode near as possible to the original using Artificial intelligence. This is part of that process but full animation will take some time.
The script also exists but it departs from the recorded production from time to time. If you have any more photographic stills taken during the production please let us know.
