On another note tho, battle rap has changed my view of Lyrical rappers in the industry. Things that are dope on beat doesn’t apply to battle rap. Having 12 bars 5 multi syllable strings is great on a song especially how it flows with the beat but in battle rap you better be saying something with it. My biggest problem with Dizaster is he does these multi syllabic strings but with no purpose. It’s also why I think Real Sikh is dope because he does that but there’s a point he’s reaching.

You can’t compare industry to battle rap. Forming a song, traditionally a verse is 16 bars (industry). Not only do you have that limit for a verse, it’s also about what you say, how you say it and when you say it over music. Battle rap isn’t confined to 16 bars nor music.
