The Jaguar F-Type R is WILD!

When Micheal accelerates at the 6:00 mark you get a great sense of how the rear sits down and the front pitches upward while you're thrown back into the seat. This is such a fun car. Definitely reminds me of a 1960s muscle car. To me it's the perfect combo of Brutish elegance and American muscle. Stepping on the gas at 70 mph sends you to 110-120mph in what seems like a blink of an eye. I opened it up on a long private road and shut it down at 150mph, but this car still had plenty left. I know there are faster cars out there but this thing is a rocket. I smile everytime I drive it. Just absolutely so much fun. Also, I realize a new F Type R isn't necessarily cheap at 110K give or take, but with the sound, speed, and beautiful look, it turns heads, even in L.A. at a rate befitting a car 2 to 3 times its cost. So many people comment on it , saying "nice car." Before this car I never was told to leave my car up front at the valet. Now it's a regular thing. To reiterate, I am aware of many cars that are faster, handle better, or both, but truly Jaguar hit an absolute homerun with the F Type.

Hey Michael:-) I test drove the R convert AWD in June 2016 and absolutely luved it!! The only negative for me (I'm a golfer) is that trunk size. Plus, I've heard many F-Types driving around gorgeous Vancouver and I'm not sure if the exhaust is on normal but they are super LOUD. Too loud for my neighbors. Plz keep the vids coming. Great content. You really are a big KID at heart and it shows. I think its AWESOME that you have a limitless supply of passion about cars, mansions, fashion and BH. It rains often here in Vancouver and I always tell peps that LA is my kinda town. Luv the scenery, the sunny weather and always lots of activities & events to do. One weekend I saw Aretha at Hollywood Bowl, took in the Long Beach GP, saw my Canucks play the LA Kings live, saw the Lakers 1st playoff game that season live, took at tour of Paramount, visited a few beaches and checked out Riviera CC & Trump National. What an AWESOME 3 days in LA!! To the naysayers-Forget about the negative comments. There are many ignorant peps in this world. Another great vid, Michael! I was in the market for an F Type and drove both the V6 and V8. Both great cars but the V6 seemed a bit gutless. The V8 though is mental. The noise is sublime and didnt seem as childish as the V6. Proper grown up sound. What put me off was a lack of a HUD (you can spec a HUD in every other Jag model) and the infotainment system only having touch screen. Minor things you may say but a HUD is a 'must' as you keep your eyes out all the time and only having a touch screen is silly in a car as it means you have to look at the screen to perform even the most basic tasks. Went for an M4CP in the end (iDrive and HUD cannot be beaten). Cracking car and you MUST buy one (just for the noise).

He is finally back. Appriciate that Mr Blakey is a busy man but i love these videos and wish to see more of them. My favourite youtuber now.

Man I recognize that condo building at 3:42. Was right down the street from my grandparents house and is actually the one in GTA V where you can buy a room when playing online. I love Beverly Hills. Definitely miss going there and staying at my grandparents. Right down their street was GreyStone Mansion. That piece of property is incredible!! Wow so I decided to look on google maps and I think where you began the video was like a block away from my grandparents old house.

3.9 seconds is way understated, even for a stock F-type R. I do 0-60 in less than 3.5s from a stop on country roads. Even better , I can go from 70mph to 100mph in about 2.5s while passing on the freeway.

And I love watching producer Michael and would love to hang out with him and Adam also, wish I had there money so I could afford to play with all there toys they do. Would love to follow him around for a week and learn off him.

I'm sold on that exhaust note alone. Jaguar can certainly build beautiful machines. That V8 is just fantastic & certainly would be my choice, Not taking anything away from the V6 by any means but you can't beat the V8.

You should flip the switch down to the checkered flag it puts the car in dynamic mode. Don't ask me why, but in my experience with the F-Type R the dynamic mode adds more crackles and pops than if you weren't in dynamic, but had the exhaust button on. Of course it goes without saying Dynamic mode + the exhaust button = the sound of gunfire.

I'm pretty sure Michael drags Adam along everywhere just so he'll look like the best dressed one. I'd be a perfect side kick in that respect.

I just found you guys and love these- I know nothing about cars except what my 16 year old tells me-I live in a small town in BC and we basically have more trucks. Would absolutely love you to show and tell the differences between the cars and why the price tag differences in easy terms that I could understand. It does not seem there is any clearance so you cannot take them off the paved roads? I am listening to you right now and Adam did say you were German! These cars don't need the female models and that era is done- don't you think? I was so glad to hear you don't need to drink and never did drugs- we have lost way to many musicians from that. great sound, you can hear that the crackles are gone. Jaguar did a software update in 2017 and removed the crackles a lot.

The thing about the F Type R.... You get the full package for around 120K US/ EU (full package in the sense of a sports car with noise, power and looks) and if you want go to beyond its easy to modify body kit/ HP

Its a convertible, so you can HEAR it better!! They quit making the V-12 s in Jaguars in 1997! Guess seeing the performance of the V-8s, I guess it no longer matters!! Great video!

Very nice video. I'm not into loud cars but the back fire gun shot sounds remind me of a joke. My car horn now sounds like gun shots. People move out of the way much faster. Have you ever gotten into RVs? There's one out now that you get out & flip out the stabilizers on each side (kind of like like the planes that can land on water have) then drive down the ramp & into the water ! In the drivers seat the left side controls are for when you're in the water & the right side is for regular driving. It has two pop outs.(when you're on land) In the water the back can open up where you have a deck, you can swing out a grill. You can dive off the deck or top of you RV. The video showed folks on shore thought that the RV was in trouble when they showed it floating in the lake at first. The boat engine part is in the back like a regular boat. Only one company makes them that I know of.
