What is your opinion comment below! Trevor Lawrence has just been pushed to strive for greatness by trading for another QB taken in his class. This Jaguars push will either break Trevor or bring him to the next level.
I’m dog shit😂 But with time things will smooth out and I won’t stumble over my words talking to a camera. It’s weird how easy it is to talk to people in real life. But trying to think and talk to a camera is just not the same. Thanks for the sub though!
@@ThePileOnShow far from dog shit. Just remember, you can edit takes. When you misread or stumble a bit. Just redo the part and edit it. It's even easier when you're not the focus on screen. Just spend more time in the editing room. And the quality will show.
Trevor hasn’t reached his peak yet, but shown lots of potential. He’ll pull it all together this next season. A little consistency with coaching staff will help.
I dont want to call you stupid, but mac jones does not have nearl6 enough talent to compete with trevor. Trevor might be mid right now but mac was traded as a backup not a future starter
Good video and I agree, as a jaguars fan , I believe Trevor will bounce back in a big way. He can be blame for a few things like better decision to throw away the ball instead of forcing think he can make every play which he can but has to be wise about it and not play hero ball, but that’s easier said then done especially with inconsistency at WR (Calvin Ridley started off rough with poor communication and sometimes lack of focus on catches and a few penalties as well, you can tell he was rusty and when Christian Kirk went down with a groin injury, it really showed.) O-Line and the center was the main problem on that line besides the injuries.
Thank you! I agree. He will bounce back. He also is hard to hate he is a nice a guy sometimes they just need that fire to get them started. Even though many people say Mac is not a threat that does not mean Trevor can take the year easy and cruise to a nice 50+ mil a year contract.
This has more to do with the Jags than Trevor. Quickest average colapsing pocket in the NFL, dropped something like 7 TDs, a Defense that couldnt stop a nosebleed the second half of the year, along with a 1 legged QB leading the team in rushing for most of the 2nd half of the year. For reference, Trevor was basically playing suicide ball when they beat the Bills, he was hit nearly 20 times. Theres games where Trevor could be better, but as long as the Khans keep Baalke there the Jags future will always be in question.
@@ThePileOnShow OTOH, it IS nice to see defense coming back into fashion... I'm not talking about Lawrence Taylor style 'murder-ball', but let's be honest... everybody has been skimping on the O-line these last 15 years or so.
They should have kept CJ, that was one move I didn't like, CJ has more experience and knows how to do really well. As far as Trevor goes, nobody needs to keep pointing their fingers to one guy for all the issues, if the offensive line didn't suck at protecting Trevor than we probably would've seen this team go to the playoffs, if it wasn't for the other issues than this team would've been in the playoffs, and if it's wasn't for the blinded referees than this team would've made it to the playoffs. All the issues was not made by one guy, the issues was made by multiple people. Trevor has the skills, he's made explosive plays multiple times. My top favorite game was when they made a big comeback in the 2nd half when they faced the Chargers 2 seasons ago in the playoffs. So again I will say, he has the skills and I do believe he can get this team further than before, provided that we still don't have an offensive line who is really bad a protecting the QB.
I called this. A lot of jags fans just don’t want to believe it and trust me I wanted the best for Trevor. I really that we had our guy but it just doesn’t seem like it to me anymore after this season. And idc say I’m not a real jags fan but Trevor deserve criticism just like the rest of the class.
Trevor was severely injured after going 8-3 also more than half of the offense was playing injured or was out. He also had a winning season despite that
The dude played the chiefs in a second playoff game in his 2nd season in the NFL after a bad urban Meyer team. It's not just the quarterback. It's the whole team.
I’d hate to play the chiefs in the playoffs. Especially last year. But he missed playoffs this year and took a step back from his 2nd season. I still think he will be fine but there is an issue.
@@ThePileOnShowbeing Top 3 in most pressured repeatedly #1 drops by a team 2 years running. 29 TDs that should have been caught. 6 of them last year by ridley drops or not dragin that toe.
If Trevor would get in the gym and do curls, he wouldnt get the ball ripped out of those chicken wing arms all of the time. I hate the way defenders strip sac him like he is a little boy
I don't expect every sports youtube to know everything about every player/team. But to give you an idea of what Trevors been dealing with, go back to that Chiefs/TB superbowl where Mahomes had 0 time to throw all game. That's been Trevor in jax. When the O line gets better, people will be talking about how he became good out of nowhere when in reality he's been great all along.
@@ThePileOnShow Yeah and I don't think non-jaguar fans realise how hard he's had it. Our tackles are solid but our C is MISERABLE (should be much better with Mitch Morse signing) and our LG was miserable aswell. He never had a pocket to step into, our run game up the middle was non existant.
I hope that putting Mac Jones behind him on the bench to scare him into thinking his job isn’t secure isn’t the plan, because nobody is scared of getting their jobs taken by Mac Jones lol
Well being average or below average is definitely not what you want from a #1 pick. Look at Joe burrow he was #1 and he’s had some great years and playoff runs. We are still waiting for Trevor. I never said he’s a bust yet. Pressure makes diamonds and I believe this can make Trevor Lawrence a top QB. You would agree only top 10 qbs have a chance at a superbowl so being borderline top 15 is not great.
Trevor does suck we number 14 in 2024 for most expensive offenses everyone of Trevor’s Qb class are backups and the Jags don’t realize that qb class of that draft sucks
@@ThePileOnShow good question my first thoughts fire Trent Ballke and Press Taylor I thought about that too the Fans of the Jags get to pick every draft pick we would probably do it better than Trent Ballke tha azz clown and tired of the bubble screen passes for losses wtf Press hope Doug not callin them plays oooofh
