I believe there’s a lot more to this story than face value and that this young man has been railroaded for his ties to the Jakes clan. We listen and adhere to their teachings more than the Word itself. STOP the foolishness of walking and being lost sheep. You did not state. If concurrently, at most, he would be 53 after serving 20 years. Ultimately, he will not serve all 20 years. If he received a total of 40 years to be served consecutively, he would be 73, which is not the rest of his life. If he was not guilty he should not have pled. Where was Cora when her ex husband was allegedly raping their adopted daughter? Cora knew that he was not being intimate with her do she should have figured this all out.
