Since 1985 The James Taylor Quartet has been adept at covering themes from films or television series. By incorporating more and more jazz and soul elements into his psychedelic rhythm n' blues, James Taylor is moving towards the acid jazz sound itself. Known in Great Britain for its public performances rich in improvisations, the quartet navigates wonderfully on the borders of Soul and Jazz.
