I enjoy that in the lore that there’s no 007esque character available, because he disappeared and that’s why you have his apprentice instead. The game is great though and there is a character for every playstyle!

I really enjoyed decieve, but I feel like it suffered from having a bit of mismatch in the ways it rewards play styles. If you're looking for a game that rewards stealth and cunning you'll absolutely get that... sometimes, unless you're in a lobby of expert murderers in which case it becomes every other multiplayer FPS I don't have a prayer of succeeding in. Or sell your soul and play Larcin. That's what I did and the shame is nicely balanced out by that shiny briefcase.

It’s certainly an interesting idea for a game and I’d say they pull it off quite well. It just sucks that creativity is never valued in the gaming industry until it’s too late.

i still hope that someway, somehow, this game makes it back. this game was my full, complete escape from dbd, like i completely stopped playing dbd because of this game and have not regretted the decision since. whether they change the game to private client servers or somehow go crazy with the marketing, i hope this game regains the huge player base it had when it released.

since this man doesn't want more larcins but i love the antics larcinis a french man that steals your stuff and hurls his gun at your face and often vanishing to appear 8 seconds later half way across the map for those who did not know

Been playing it for half a year, hope more folks get into it as it's actually a lot of fun. Matchmaking is fast but you will recognize a few familiar faces. Hans main on PS5 btw. Is a contender for my game of the year.

This game is def worth a try if you are on the fence about it. But here are two warnings that I actually wish were in the video. 1.) Stealth and sussing people out are viable, but if you get jumped on against people who are good at FPS, you lose, sorry! If you aren't good at fps, you will struggle, so play xiu or larcin maybe. 2.) This leads to my next point, which is that unfortunatley the new player experience for this game is AWFUL. They implmented in newer player matchmaking, but the lower playercount means it won't really do much. You are going to be placed against high level players and get killed two minutes in. If you don't have friends to play with you or to help you learn the ropes, it's very rough.

Great game! I just got into it like 2 weeks ago. I suck at FPS and I've managed to win - the different agents cover a lot of different playstyles from "in your face damage" to "sneak your shots in and then escape invisibly". I think it's still on sale right now for $10 and that is a bargain for this game.

Deceive inc is one of the most fun and replayable games I've ever played, but it feels really bad with this player count for long queue times in Duo's and sometimes impossible matchmatching for Trips. Sometimes the lobbies aren't full. I really think the Dev's messed up not making this game free to play, but like you mentioned in this video, the monetization for the game will be challenging too since everything is pretty much free with in game currency and the alternatives would feel really bad for players of this kind of game...

I was on the fence for buying it but thus video got me over the edge and I bought it

This feels heavily inspired by the old assassins creed multiplayer

I love Deceive Inc. but it really needs a bot training mode for maps. They can be pretty dumb like getting all the upgrades and intel and running around not caring much about cover, but need to have good "sus" detectors to help new players learn when they're walking about all wiggly and woggly, asking to be shot.

i played this game once after doing the tutorial that took like 10 minutes I sat in a 43 minute queue, then at the start of my first game someone ran full speed at me with a AK while all i had was a silenced pistol, honestly unless you enjoy pain this game isn't worth the wait to get into a game and not worth playing when the like 20 people playing are all max level and have all the spawns mapped out

What an absolute unit, to not only give this game the credit it deserves, but to trash the marketing team for how shit they are.

Deceive Inc has potential, but it would be better if it was Hitman or Assassins Creed PvP mode.

I am honesty intrested in the game the only thing stoping me from playing it is the lack of cash to buy the game i enjoyed the beta back when that relised

lol yeah characters are really easy to get i have 41,950 credits (28 Octos) so not being able to afford the new characters isnt really a problem most of my friends who have just got the game usuially unlock the rest within a day or 2, not sure if thats a bad thing but its a thing

I know the thoughts of Random RU-vid Commenter #23 doesn't matter, but holy crap Deceive Inc needs a beginner's mode. Picked this game up from a Humble Bundle and while the game is fun and oozes style the new player learning curve is a fucking shear cliff face. All but three characters are locked (two of whom require immense aim to play), all the gadgets are locked, and the game's nonexistent matchmaking puts you against level 500+ Alpha Testers when you're level 5.
