He strikes me as one of the most credible narrators of comic-book history. Even after Kane's death, he's not sassing Kane for overplaying or exaggerating his contributions to the Batman mythos. I met him once at the Kansas City Con. Glad he gave Jack Nicholson, Heath Ledger and Joachim Phoenix the role of a lifetime.
😎I remember the Rockefeller story Alex and having a comic connection to the story makes it even better😄! The integration conference and the Siegel - Shuster campaign are definitely great moments in comic history , 🤔i see comparisons between you and Mr Robinson in your efforts to bring industry realities to public awareness. I still say that aside from the deck of cards I strongly believe that subconsciously Mr Robinson used Bill Finger as the fully realized Joker inspiration. 😀I have the Jet Scott collection of strips and it was an enjoyable series , always appreciated Mr Robinson's art style , sometimes my local newspaper would have his political cartoons printed. I'm also familiar with his work on the stage theatre magazine Playbill ; being a fan of stage plays I feel that he and Al Hirschfeild both contributed wonderful art connected to productions. I was hoping that with the conversation on his involvement with the cartoonist society mention would have been made about his book The Comics which was a marvelous history on comic strips.
