I get what Joe is saying about his retirement when it comes to him lacking inspiration, wanting a new phase in his career and seeing that artists are not making as much money as they should. But it still surprises me when just last year, he was more inspired than I'd ever seen him, constantly saying "the mission is great." I would've loved to see him do 1 more project with Araabmuzik given how good Rage was.

But that "failure" seems to be based on the results of his music. Sales, profit, etc. Fans like me want him to make another album to add to his legacy. I know he has beats from Araab and Nottz that surpass almost all of the production he's used for his solo projects. So he could make the best project of his career right now with more attention from the masses than he's had since Pump it Up. But he refuses to, which annoys me, but I guess it's what makes sense to him.
