Ron Palmer I am 82 years old and a former Baptist minister and the son of a former Baptist minister, we both joined this the Restored Church of Jesus Christ 50 years ago. Some people are troubled by quotes from the Holy Bible. I have no problem with it as I know that the Book of Mormon was given by God and it is True. The translation was given by God according to the understanding and language of Joseph Smith, which I have a testimony that he truly is the prophet of the Restoration of His Restored Church; the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. This Restoration had to take place before the 2nd coming of Jesus Christ. Israel had to be restored also and Israel has been restored. It is all true and my deceased father and I know it. Read the entire Book of Mormon and ask God if it is True, I did and I know it is Ture. Thank You for a great lesson.

When I was 9 years of age the Baptist preacher quoted the scripture of a Restoration of all things and Jesus Christ would not come until Israel was a nation again; How can this be, I thought, the Jews have no army or means or restoring Israel. I was listening to my shortwave radio and happened to tune in an English speaking station, it was the United Nations taking a vote to partition Palestine and restore the Nation of Israel. The vote carried and the Nation of Israel was Restored in a day, in an hour, in a minute . Wow I heard a miracle, now where is the Restored Church of Jesus Christ. Later at the age of 32 I was called to the Ministry in the Baptist Church and while preaching a sermon, the Holy Spirit spoke to me and lead me to read the Book of Mormon. I met with the missionaries and knew that I had found the Restored Church of Jesus Christ. The Holy Spirit spoke to my wife also, who was opposing me joining the "Mormon Church", I asked her to change the way she was praying and to ask God if the Book of Mormon was true. She did and came out of her room all excited: "Ronnie, I was in there praying and a light appeared in the room and a voice said, just like it was in the room with me, the voice said Your Husband is Seeking to Serve God, Follow Him". She then said "I know the Mormon Church is True and I want to join the Church. I said it is True. My Father said I had gone astray, that Mormons were not Christian, I said dad they are Christian, read the Book of Mormon. He and my mother did and came to me several months later and said they know that the Book of Mormon is True and they joined the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. This all happened in 1970. The 1st year 14 members of my family and extended family joined the Church which comprised 4 generations. I am currently the Seminole 2nd Ward organist. This restoration has revealed the Fullness of the Gospel which reveals who we really are, Sons and Daughters of our Father in Heaven, where we came from, why we are here and that we Return to Him who is our Father in Heaven. Jesus is the Christ and through Him we are Born Again and can enter the presence of our Heavenly Father. These things are True in the Name of Jesus Christ, Amen.

When I was in 5th grade, we took a trip to washington with my best friend. We listened to John Bytheway talks the WHOLE WAY. This was one that was on repeat.
My Goodness i listen to this talk when i served as a Missionary in the Fresno CA Mission, and still remember the amazing feeling i got when i first listened to it, and 10 years later still remember the talk

Out of respect to brother John Bytheway, who is a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, I would like to request to change "the cross" shown in this video for a drawing of our Lord JesusChrist. Brother Bytheway nor the church believe in "the cross" as a symbol of the living gospel this message is about. It is completely out of place. I attended a catholic school and I know this is a catholic symbol, not an LDS symbol. Thank you!
I am an active member and love seeing the cross. I don't worship it, and I revere the resurrection, but I love feeling connected to other Christians. There is actually nothing in our doctrine prohibiting the use of the cross..it just isn't the symbol of our faith. But I still love seeing it.
