I have the Echo Puss, it’s very similar, but it has modulation and said to be a take on the deluxe memory man. I’ve played a lot of delays, and it’s my favorite delay pedal I’ve ever used. The Echo Puss has been discontinued, but the Supa Puss is basically a combination of the aqua and echo, but it also has tap tempo and subdivisions.
I'm owning over 10 delay pedals and the Aquapuss is my No.1 for slap back delays. It has a distinct sound quality i can't achieve with my MemoryMan, Memory Boy, Carbon Copy, Ibanez, Seymour Duncan or XVive analog delay. The Aquapuss sound is famous for those type of delay sounds. You can dial in those settings on a lot of delay pedals, but it mostly doesn't sound 100% like the AP.
@@apostolicway2604 Do you know the basic differences between analog and digital delays? What do you need it for, what kind of music? Or just a versatile Delay (Allrounder)? What is your budget?
In my experience analog delays self oscillate when you add to either the mix or blend knob, the only delay I've been able to use that doesn't self oscillate is the Earthquaker Devices Dispatch Master. Tried Relaxing Walrus by Animals Pedals and it oscillated, tried French bread delay by effects bakery and the same thing happened. A delay like the one U2 uses costs 700 dollars. I didn't bother remembering what it was called
