Roy Evans was so stupid for not playing then selling John Scales in 1996. we had a string of defensive injuries that entire season. Matteo got injured then Harkness, then Jones. Babb was out for a period of time injuring his Gonads. Realising his mistake he ends up buying Kvarme! Bjornebye and Wright played almost the entire season. Scales in Central defence would have cemented our title win. Scales only played 3 EPL games (Man U, Derby - created an assist, and unknown). Yeah he was struggling for injuries himself but not as bad as Rob Jones
Blimey, it's a young Paul Hawksbee. He could hardly get a word in or a word out here. Of course this was before he became the great broadcaster he is on Talksport. That sounded sarcastic but it's not. I love Hawksbee and Jacobs and have listened to almost every show they've done since 1999!
