​@@SuccerLuigi can do it very easily (ive done it within 5 minutes of playing the game again after a 3 years hiatus), and it works against all characters. At least Icies have to desync.

@Succer Luigi grab is more iconic with the plunger visual. Something about getting plucked by the plunger and put into the “cutscene” makes for a really intimidating visual

@@easiestcc6451 some stuff happened to me in a coinbox with his mods, and he never did jack shit about it (got double Dq'ed when I demanded to see my opponents LAN after dealing with unplayable lag, which LAN's were mandated [they wouldn't lag check because of the sheer amount of people in it as it, as it was the one with Leveon Bell in it/helping sponsor it, which ig is understandable, but at least make them show the thing that's mandated]. When I complained in the discord, I was banned from all future Coinboxes.) Never truly cared for his "over-the-top reactions" either, as well as the fact that HE of all players is a Pro Steve ban guy after some of the stuff he did as Puff in Melee. Wrap it all together, and I'm happy whenever he gets pissed. I love going PS2 at locals, as that stage pisses him off due to how often it's picked. Whenever I'm up against Puff's, I picture it's him I'm up against just so I can think for a second I kicked his butt. So yeah, there's no smash drama behind him (as far as I'm aware) just a personal gripe with him

trampoline was placed and ness's fire hits it and puts it into the red tramp state. once you land on red tramp, you go into free fall. the ness was holding left and didn't grab ledge or land on the stage because of it

Which part? SDI tends to help more with multi hits because you get multiple instances of SDI to reposition. To me it doesn't seem like horizontal or vertical SDI would be impactful enough to legit get out of the combo. It /might/be enough to make Plant have to react to your SDI but I'm not sure if that even.

​@@christopheringram3597 any move with a lot of hitlag also lets you SDI it, for sure the ptooie hit can be SDI'd quite a bit if it's anything like gordo is.

not sure if it matters in this case, plus if you're SDI-ing out you're most likely getting out DI as well which is how you get out of the combo anyways, so
