The thing about shanties is that there are often an insane number of potential verses to choose from. So why not choose the ones that have our heroes behaving like hooligans in the streets?
We first got our start singing shanties, so it seemed appropriate for our 25th anniversary that we would record a disc of nothing but shanties to help celebrate.
This album was included as a bonus disc in the physical release of that anniversary album, XXV. However, when released virtually we kept just the first disc as XXV and made the second disc it's own standalone album, called Shantytime.
