I don't understand why they wouldn't approve a refund??? They forgot that majority of their fans are normal people who can't afford to just throwaway their tickets.
I’m guessing that them actually cancelling the concert would make them have to pay a fine to the ticket seller platform… but it’s just an idea… and if it’s not their money hit just their fans they just don’t care
Hm... I'm concerned about that part. Is there a black and white about refunds upon buying the tickets? If there's a clause that doesn't allow refunds, that's going to piss off ticket holders

They did this to my city too, went on SNL instead of the date of their show instead of playing here. It took months for everyone to get their refunds, everyone here was pissed.
I’m from Guadalajara, México and they did the same in 2022 and to this day we (the fans that bought tickets) haven’t received refunds bc the concert “is not cancelled, just rescheduled”. They haven’t say ANYTHING about that, just ignore their fans. I personally just stopped following them, just disappointing.
@@hipsterracoon2159 yes, it is and they know the fans are angry so they scheduled dates in Mexico city, Monterrey and Cancun but left out Guadalajara, the city that already paid them and is waiting for a new date/refund!!

I was a huge Jonas Brother fan but once I heard how Joe treated Sophia I was like nope 👎 and how Joe and Nick would treat fans when they were younger just added to me not liking them anymore. Only one I love and support is Kevin

I dont understand why its legal for these artist to cancel ,and not have to refund. I understand that the website that are selling the tickets are kind of liable, but these artist get way too easy
North Dakotan here! Them cancelling their Grand Forks show extremely fucked up the economy in our region!! Exciting things don't happen in our smaller populated state often so we have to super prepare for the influx of people that come here for events like this!
@@spectre9340the hotels around were expecting a huge turnout, as were nearby restaurants and such. Heard of a family that was having a family reunion at the show. I was also going to go because I live 8 miles away from the venue. I normally would’ve had to go to Minneapolis, but cancelled plans going to see them then because they were going to be so close. So I wasn’t able to see the show at all
The first half of the video I was like "wow they just moved the dates and didn't apologize, that's kinda shitty", and then I realized the dates were originally set for MAY and it literally mid-April. Such short notice is for sure not okay and DEFINITELY warrants an apology and refunds.
Yikes... if i was a fan this would make me so mad. I would never risk buying a ticket to their show again. Let the people have refunds at the very least! So disrespectful.

I agree with everything BUT what that one TikToker said about not being able to make rent. If you can't make rent and you're traveling to another country or scraping what you have left for a concert, get your priorities straight!!!
Just read in a comment down below that they never rescheduled a show that was supposed to be done in Guadalajara, México in 2002; since the show is supposed to be rescheduled those fans in Guadalajara have STILL not gotten a refund! Sounds like maybe those fans in Guadalajara and the European fans that want a refund should file a huge class action suit to get their money back.

a LOT of people! you'd be surprised. i liked them bc i was a child and grew up with them but i even ran into my cousin's wife and sister that are milenials and 10 years older than me at a jonas brothers concert. my mom even discovered the jonas brothers all on her own and became a fan of them after seeing them perform on the tonight show when they were promoting their new album. they may be older now but they're still filling arenas

The filmed that in AZ when they were doing a free concert at the park a few weeks ago. I can tell because I was there, and they were wearing those same outfits. They all did seem kinda out of it, especially Joe.

I had something similar happen to me years ago with Lady Gaga. I was supposed to see her for the Born This Way Ball but it was canceled/postponed due to an injury and subsequent care she needed. I was upset but understood why. Well she canceled he BTW Ball and completely changed her tour to the Artpop Ball tour and went to a different venue in a different city. In the beginning they told us to hold on to the tickets and they would've worked for the new date, but once I learned that it was all completely different, I just wanted my money back. Like how were my tickets supposed to work for the new venue? I went through some things to get my money back, but I did eventually get it back. So I understand how the Jonas Brothers fans feel.

as far as i can remember One Direction only cancelled ONE show last minute and it was bc Liam was hospitalized and literally physically ill and could not perform and i remember again that during Harry's solo career he has only ever cancelled shows or events bc of either WEATHER or bc he was insanely sick bc of all the work he'd been doing and i remember he felt SO BAD whenever he did have to cancel he made the statement himself when he was sick about how he couldn't go on stage and you could tell he felt so bad and truly did everything to try and get better before the show but he had to reschedule the shows and the shows did go on during their rescheduled dates and it was all fine and refunds were offered to those who couldn't make it anymore i believe The point i'm trying to make like othere here is that the jonas brothers don't have near the amount of relevancy, talent, or power that One Direction has (even to this day) or what Harry has SO THE FACT THAT THEY ACT LIKE THIS??? unserious

BTS has cancelled before...because RM and Jimin received death threats, and again because of the pandemic. they are STILL putting out music that they prepared before having to fulfill mandatory military service, I consider these to be legitimate reasons for cancelling/rescheduling.

Singer from my favorite band Trivium had TWINS that week one month early and he still didn't cancel the show. Singer from Kill Switch Engage sang the songs but the show still happened!
I just don’t understand the mentality of doing this to your fans and not refunding them. Fans help build up these celebrities, but they can also take it away if not treated properly. I hope Jonas fans get their money back
I’m laughing at them… Taylor managed to make all her obligations from concerts (except when they got rained out), release old music, release new music, make it foot ball games, friend’s birthday dinners… etc. and they are excited for a new project: 🤦🏻♀️
I don’t agree with what they did, but I don’t think you should get tickets to a show in another city or country you’re not interested in visiting if it was not for the concert. In this case I think maybe people should go ahead and take advantage and still go to these cities/countries and just re-sell their concert tickets to get some money back. While it’s very shitty, it’s a huge risk you are taking so I think it’s better to have a backup plan of turning it into a vacation to not completely lose out on money from hotel and flight. I love them but you cannot be surprised millionaires want to make more money, they are a business unfortunately at the end of the day.
I had tickets for two shows. I could go to the rescheduled dates but chose to have both refunded! I would have had more grace if they showed any remorse or regret.
Idk why but this situation reminds me of the South Park episode where Micky Mouse made the Jonas Brothers promote rings for their female fans even though nobody liked them
They came to Buffalo when I was in middle school and it got rained out after the opening act. They took hours to decide to actually cancel the show, so I had my parents waiting to see if they needed to leave to pick me up an hour away, then my friends and I had to wait for them to drive to get us once they finally decided to cancel. It was torrential downpour, but I was in denial and desperately wanted to see them perform. They promised to reschedule the show and honor everybody’s tickets. Three months later, they broke up.
This is the first time I’ve heard my home state of North Dakota in a drama video! About time we get some recognition 🤣😭 The Grand Forks ND concert cancelling last minute was a total shit show though. 💩 I *almost* got tickets but am so thankful now that I didn’t! 😩
Okay so this is interesting. Not that I’m defending them, just confused by the differences in response. Louis Tomlinson cancelled his whole Asia leg last year and didn’t give a reason just said he was “gutted” and everyone was SO worried, rightfully so, that he was okay. His mom and sister passed away so everyone was worried something else happened to him or his family. But he never cleared it up that everything was okay. Everyone came to his defense saying “he doesn’t have to talk about his private life” which is fine but he can have a private life. But he could’ve at least released a statement saying he was okay. But the Jonas brothers cancel a leg and they’re crucified? But nobody is mad at him for letting fans believe something was genuinely wrong? The video says if Taylor did this she’d get backlash which may be true but what about Louis on the opposite end of the spectrum who faced no backlash and was even praised/defended? His fans lost money on plane tickets/hotels too….
I'm from Denmark and our tiny country can really feel the impact on big venue concerts. They cancelled Royal Arena here and it's a HUGE venue. Whenever a big artist cancels it can really be felt in the local economy. My friend booked train tickets, a hotel room, and have had made arrangements with friends for months to see this concert on the other side of the country. If it was for health reasons, sure, but this is just a slap in the face.
i want to gather all the PR personnel of all these celebrities for dinner and just be a fly on the wall j to hear them talk about how their jobs have been.
