Hello guys. After some time I bring you another short cinematic with DJI Mini 2 SE. Video was edited in Premiere Pro. Hope yall liked it. Like, share and sub to help channels growth. Thank you Instagram: / cinetechnologies
this is a great video, its pretty rare to see good videos with the beginner lineup of drones but i surely enjoyed watching this one. Love the style and sound work.
@@Cinetechnologies The gear is cool, but what you're doing here is what makes your videos amazing. doing great work with affordable hardware. Nice work!
Fantastic flight great view smooth flight good music thanks for sharing with us and you enjoy your Weekend new sub 👌 and let’s keep on droning safely always Brother Cheers 🍻✈️👌✌️🍻
Just came across this channel through YT recommendation and subscribed immediately. Awesome footage, realised that I have so much to learn to improve my own footages.
Thank you so much. That is one of the best feedbacks on my work so far, but even I have sooo much to learn. In a 2 weeks hopefully there will be a new video, which I consider my best work. Stay tuned!
Beautiful ! I just buy a mini2SE, like it, I need to train when I see your videos :-) Images are nice, but I think the video editing is big part of this nice video
Really shows what the Mini 2 SE is capable of. You are very lucky being able to go to these stunning locations. How was the range in those shots that required the drone to fly farther away like in the mountains (1:25)? Did it stay connected well or did it loose a little signal?. I haven't really flown outside of my neighborhood although I did take some videos of some trees changing color. I just need to learn how to use Davinci Resolve well. I would do anything to get more free time to fly my drone.
Glad you enjoy drone flying same as I do. And about signal. It wasnt more than 500m straight line so signal was great. Depends where are you from. If you are from EU, signal range isnt that great becouse of restrictions.
This is an epic movie, amazing footage and great skills you got. I love this mini video ❤ I just picked up a mini 2 for my channel and I could learn a lot from you! So now you have a new sub from me 👍
Thank so much. With mini 2 you will be able to create even more high quality footage, wish I had one😅. If you are interested in cinematography I recommend you to check out channel of Denis Barbas. He inspired many of my shots.
@@Cinetechnologies Well thanks for that advise, I will certainly check out that channel. I need to up my skills, getting a mini 2 is a game changer and I want to have the skills to get epic shots. I have only flown it twice so far and I really enjoyed it.
Glad you like it. And another advice for you. In my opinion its 30% about flying skills and 70% about editing skills (colorgrade) so if you plan to share your content dont forget about that.
For this video I used premiere pro. And about camera. I shoot in 2.7K, 25fps with 100 ISO and I adjust shutter speed to lighting conditions. But golden rule is to keep it double of frame rate. But most of the time its impossible. White Balance is set to auto. If you want to ask about some particular things I didnt mention feel free.
Oh my goodness. How in the world did you get this many views with only having four videos? What is your secret? I mean this video is very good and professional looking. I really liked it. 👍 I liked and subscribed.
From what I noticed is that its really about thumbnails. Take time with them and make them as most appealing. Also its about how relevant your content is. Mini 2 se is newer drone and people are looking for youtube videos regarding to it. And last its about pure luck and youtube algorithm. Hope that helps🙌
Thank you. I believe my thumbnails are very good. It makes sense what you’re saying about it being a newer model and that’s what people are looking for right now.
Thank you. As for camera settings I shoot in pro mode. Always 100 ISO, 2,7K 30fps. Shutter speed is adjusted to lighting conditions. The rule is that it should be double the frame rate so in this case 1/60, but most of the time the image would be too bright or dark, so you cant rely on that. White balance is set to auto. I didnt use nd filters during this video. Even though I tried them few months back and I dont really have a opinion on them but one thing is certain, dont buy some cheap filters from China because you will be dissapointed.
I shoot in pro mode in 2.7K 30fps, ISO 100, auto white balance, I adjust shutter speed to the lighing conditions but golden rule is to keep it double of the frame rate so in this case 1/60 but dont over do it couse there will be lot of noise in shot. It is a small sensor so it isnt ideal for night shots. I dont remember all the settings. When I will be flying next time I will add other details or just ask if I missed something.
I wish I could fly that thing one day 😅 But I got a opportunity to borrow mini 3 from acquaintance of mine. Hopefully there will be a full winter video in upcoming months.
To be honest this was my first video in premiere pro. Most of the time I used tutorials to do some nice effects. 😅 For techniques I used masking for the train shot and overlay for the shot with fog/clouds. But most of the time I played with colors. It is really subjective thing and everyone does it differently. I use to watch lot of cinematic videos from professionals to get that into my eye.
I have a Dji mini 2 se as well and I’am trying to learn how to use it in a cinematic way and so I was wondering if you used nd filters to capture your amazing footage
I did not use nd filters. But I have bought pair of them since then but I think they are not really that importatnt as people think. Only thing they do is they help you get right shutter speed during sunny days to get that cinematic motion blur. On the other hand I have found CPL filter useful. They eliminate any unwanted reflections eg. from water, glass or when filming snow it is not glowing. I am no pro, but thats just my experience. And if you plan to buy them, buy them from some great trusted brand. If you buy the cheapest dont expect much. I recommend you polar pro or freewell. And if you want to make cinematic footage definitely learn something about colour grading. If you have any other questions feel free to ask.
Hi, love what you just did with the mini 2 se. I am planning to buy it also. would you share what settings you used, and how you color graded? and did you used also nd filters?
I edit my videos in premiere pro. In colors section there is option for luts(something like filter for video). I used luts that were already there by adobe and tried which one fitted the most and then some minor adjustments in highlight, shadows etc. And I didnt use nd filters at all.
thanks for your reply. I will try it out just got it for 250€ from amazon and this will be my first dji drone, so it will be a lot of testing and crashing and I think the 2 SE is great for that 😁
@@ibrahim.productions I am happy for you. It was also my first drone. When you are first time flying set it to cine mode on controller. It will be less responsible to jerky movements to prevent you from crashing. That is just my advice. And also find some reeealy open space so you can learn mecanics more easily and safely.
Definitely! It is a good drone for recreational flying, but if you want to use it for work, videos, etc. I recommend you to get some 4K drone. Over time you may require it.
@@Cinetechnologies Thankyou .. do you think DJI mini 3 would be good for a beginner I have no experience with drones but I do want 4k as my osmo pocket 3 records in 4k.
@@Nishat.k Mini 3 is a fantastic choice. It doesnt matter for a beginner, because mini 2 and 3 are not really that different. except the camera and body. They are the same size, weight, same flying properties etc. Ive been working with mini 3 last 2 months. Btw in a 2 weeks there will be video. For travel and vlogs definely better then mini 2se. In has little bit higher fixed aperture, but you can solve that by nd filters(if you dont know I can explain). The problem with mini 2 se is that over the time you would want that 4k, same as me. Mini 3 is little bit more expensive but its worth that buck. If you have any questions just ask.
@@Cinetechnologies Thankyou so much .. I rather invest from the beginning than regretting it I was just worried that as a beginner will it be difficult to get used to , but you’ve answered my question! Much appreciated!
@@Cinetechnologies that was the intesion of my feedback. Your grading is better then the others. If you keep going on, you'll become more followers and get more and more visible.
Definitely is! Though I recommend to buy fly more combo because one battery wont be enough. If its for recreational flying, it's perfect price/performance. But if you want to get more into it I recommend you to skip to classic mini 2. It delivers 4k video which is a lot clearer. Since I am doing cinematography for RU-vid I also plan to level up to a bigger drone. But Its nice drone to start.
