Congrats, I am nowhere close 1m kills or lvl1000, so that's impressive! I also still have to do a lot or grinding for the Voyage Rush dark ops

@@BlazeStorm Yea I still haven't done any of the easter eggs, so I don't have any of those dark ops challenges done. I have all the others done though, that are completable.

It's probably more rewarding to finish a weapon once you're close (finishing the headshots). It at least switches the already repetitive gameplay up (from headshots to normal killing + special enemies). Plus when you get Diamond on one category, that feels soooo good

BlazeStorm True! Ill probably switch it up a bit. I definitely cant wait to get the welling out of the wayyy I need 700 more headshots and then I can finally start the next set of challenges for it. The welling has been so painful 😣

@@musicpawns I hon3stly found the welling not so bad. UnPaPed with Silver bullets and Bandolier and spam away

and a ton of insta kill elixirs. i started a bit ago and got 4 of my secondarys gold. taking a break to play Last of us 2, then getting back into the grind

@@rajahassan1236 Well I played at least 20 rounds every day for the Daily Contract, and then maybe twice a month I went for the round 40-50. It widely varied, sometimes multiple times a week and then during the summer barely at all.

BlazeStorm okay no wonder it took you a while you played less compared to other utubers

Oooh that reset is painful. I gotta be honest, they made Blackout and Zombies take a lot more time than in Multiplayer. I played MP the least but I already have a few Diamond weapons in it.

Hah, surprise to see you here! I generally just played on Casual until round 25ish, just doing the Daily Contract each time. Altho if I had the day off, I'd go to round 40-50. Didn't have much of a strategy, I just played on whatever map I felt like at the moment. Each, besides AO, has great training spots. It's also why I love Blood hehe, just start the match, open the entire map on round 1/2 with the free points, then build the shield and stay on the roof the entire time. The trick to stay motivated is to do one category at the time. I never planned on Dark Matter at the begging, first I just wanted Gold on my then favourite gun (Mozu), then I wanted Diamond on the easiest category (shotguns) and it just went from there

@@BlazeStorm I was searching Dark Aether strategies and this popped up! Awesome, I haven't dabbled into Casual, probably going to try sometime soon. After Season 2 dies down a bit. Super excited to go back and play old Zombie games though! Great tips! I think I might do this :D

@@Doughnuts Season 2 still has to start lmao. Yeah I'm very glad that this video of all of mine was the one to get popular, I put a lot of time in the editing (and the grinding ofcourse). Casual is just way easier for the grind without any downside

@@BlazeStorm I don't like the decreased XP gain, the lack of easter eggs too, that always detered me. But I'm going to try and grind one day soon to see how far I can go! Great video :D

@@Doughnuts With how many kills you get, the XP is no issue. I'm level 400 lol. And no EE definitely is annoying, but you're not doing EEs when grinding these kills anyway (at least for most guns)

Best of luck! What helped me was just focusing on subgoals instead of Dark Matter. Trying to get just a weapon or weapon category done.

@@JanarrisJackson If you bored of this then definitely don't do it, it's just a time investment after all. But what helped me personally is being satisfied by hitting the smaller milestones like finishing headshots for a weapon. I usually went into a match with just the goal of "25 Heavy Zombies kills with this weapon" for example

Thanks! Yes you only need the base weapons, the ones that were ingame when the game first came out. The Grav and MP40 are not needed either.

@@nameless856 The most important thing is to take breaks when you want to. With a grind as big as this one you can burn out pretty fast. That's why it took me a year. I only played when I felt like it, and often just played a casual short match.

All the guns are in this video. As for Diamond, it depends on what category. In general, Black Market weapons are not needed

I didn't plan on getting it myself either. I just wanted one weapon Gold. Then went for the category Diamond. Smaller goals helps, that way you won't be disappointed no matter what :)

The GKS is a wallbuy on IX. The Gladiators are Heavy Zombies. Ez For the MP40, you gotta be lucky with the box. BUT the MP40 and the Galil are not needed for Dark Matter
