I moved from Efootball (20 years exp) to FC then I'm in chaos with FC defend control system. I saw many tuts but this tut is the best of. It clearly, detail and wonderful HUD for knowledge. Gratefull to all ❤❤❤
Honestly, EA sports should just hire you. I have researched defending and yours is the best I have watched so far. Really grateful for explaining from the basics. There are old people like me who peaked at Fifa 2015 and find it difficult to switch/learn these new techniques.
This is the hardest fifa game I have played in the last 20 years, I have dropped from being a division 1&2 player to a struggling division 6, lots of things don’t make sense. The opponent press when you start from the back is so quick that I can’t even play from the back, I never have open spaces to pass the ball, I always get pressed with like 3 players and even 4 sometimes. My midfield is so scrappy, slow defenders sprinting and catching my fast stickers, change of player when defending going to the wrong players, everything is just not right 😮
Same here best i get is div 3, last year 1 or 2 all the year i am not playing that much like last years but again it is to hard to play in 4 o 5 div. Last year when i buy game i lose myb one game until div 3. I see I mostly lose v players from 2023 and 2024 and mostly win v players under 2020 looks like old players have same issue. 😂

I've learnt alot from your videos overs the years, mostly on Defending. But I seriously find it hard to get used to 24 defending. I really don't like the mechanics
You speak facts... I was a defense god in 23 buh I now find extremely difficult to keep goals away and it's so humiliating😢. That's how I found my self here in this video😭
FIFA removed legacy defense from online for a reason. If I'm paying so much for this game, I should be able to play the legacy option online instead of my defender standing there and watching the opponent with the ball. Absolutely garbage.
How do I use the second man press on Tactical mode? I do sometimes see it activated with a green cursor on the Ai controlled defender but I don’t know the buttons I presed, it happens mostly when I’m panic defending 😂. Kudos!!
Bro you re right about classic controller settings, i have noticed that too.For some reason jockey isnt so effective when you use alternate controller settings and the problem is that i cant change my controller settings cuz i play with alternate controller settings for six years now.I really dont know what to do to fix my defending...
Legacy defending was by far the best and most overpowered technique, there was one simple trick that most people didn't know about. Legacy defending has basically three options that you could use to defend, tackling with X or A, second man pressing and sliding tackle. The key was to run towards your opponent and then when you were only 2-3 meters away from your opponent to switch to another teammate with L1 or LB, but simultaneously holding the second man pressing button. Your AI player would continue to move very aggressively towards your opponent automatically and would tackle the ball away from your opponent and it worked in 8/10 times. The AI defender would simply run your opponent over and block any attempt to pass the ball. The timing of switching to your next player while holding the second man pressing button was the key and your opponent couldn't even get anywhere near the goal or even your box.
I use this but it’s hard when the opponent knows how to shield the ball, I just need to know how to use the second man press on Tactical Mode as I personally think it’s the best.
Even if I do jockey, defenders are just not tackling even after I am facing to player for a while. It just depends on how game decides for you to lose or win. That's stupid. And when I do tackle, it just tackles into empty space rather than to player and it just bypasses lol.
hi, i am using tactical defending. i changed some of the buttons. but when i press the contain button, it doesnt seem to work, my players dont get closer to the opponent. how can i fix this?
Please make a video on how to use sprint button when defending in fc24 cause most of us are stuck on holding the Sprint button all the time, cause even in real life defenders slow down when defending not always running for the ball? The question is how can we control sprint or how can we use sprint in the defense please 🙏🙏🙏
😂😂😂 ya neh, I mean is my eye and hand coordination that bad I literally try and follow these tutorials to the tee but still when an opponent is one on one with my defender he toasts them, they get so lost whether I slow jockey or fast jockey I'm so confused and starting to lose hope, I don't mind losing if atleast im im control of my defence but come on 4-1, 5-2, 7-1 at this point I'm at the verge of paying to learn😢😢😢
It will take you more than 60 days to master the classic configuration if you've been using custom. So don't feel frustrated after the first two weeks. It has become my second nature now after 61days
What’s the benefit ? .. Has it made your game better . I have been using custom for more than 10years, if there it is not going to improve my game and make me lethal then there is no use
All mechanics not only in defence,in attack too are broken ,in defense the switch of right stick even if you use 3,4,5,6 or other customisation is worse and worse... 2nd press I don't why exists and now you complicate everything with advanced defending which is a half of OLD legacy defending,than in atack there are some skills that are verry closed to do and if you have a little bit lag and you will, you want to make a skill and you will do another one which is not usefull,than servers this is maybe the big problem why do you do a microskill game when you hace 40,50 ms delay at list??? Why to do this make it simple if you have not servers,and do upgradea when you are ready to do ! Sorry FC24 is the bening of the end of a footbal game which has nothing or almost nothing in common with the fenomen. By the way how can you recover in almost one second the entire pitch with a player,has a BMW engine in his ass? Come on... And then verry well done with the keepers inside the penalty box,they concede,other time save like in real life,but what are you doing with those IREAL SHOTS from 40 m in angle,trivela from the other planet,and the GKjust watch or sometimes flies under the bal ,that goal does not exist in a footbal match maybe 1 in 1000 matches,but if the goalie is under 40 OVR ! So you must change the defense style,you don't have servers,so do simple legacy def + 2nd man press + optimize right switch trigger to do a balance game, than the football matches ussual is about less goal,not very match 6-4,7-6,6-5,when is 3-3,or 2-2 is something OAU, no,when 2 pro players match each other is a 0-0,1-0,2-1,3-1,1-1 realistic score,ok if a pro meets a beginner let it be 8-0, 9-0, without momentum (script) or much less from nowadays,2 medium players 2-2,1-1,0-0,2-1,1-0 ,not 8-7,6-3,and other stupid hockey results,or cricket... The competition is nearby and they promise a clear game,GOALS ARCADE MODE, and we wait for the BIGGEST ANNOUNCED GAME: UFL which has the entire licenses like EA,that's the point and if they are clever can do a simply but eficient footvall game on console in which you will feel the game,learn it and progress,not like EA in which the progress is about to buy ! This will fault youvEA! And in the first season another good step UFL will be free ! If they do the right way even if the game costs 100 euro,if it is good like a football game and 5% or less SF glitches (bugs every game has,but can be removed) if they do this in the next 20 years will have no problems,cause EA in that moment must change everything and they will not,cause in that moment they know that a game is verry hard to reboot and start from 0 ! But who knows? Competition is good,the only bad feeling about UFL is to not be a game under the level of EFOOTBAL, cause I and we the players prefer 2025 nice and beautifuul and enjoyable UFL FOOTBALL GAME rather than a hurish new entry disaster game !
