The trail to Midžor peak has always been one of the most fascinating overlanding trails in Serbia, and a highlight of our Secret Carpathians tour (www.rustikatravel.com/secret-.... However, it was frustrating to many at the same time, since a visit to Midzor peak means driving back the last 7 km in order to continue further along Stara planina.
But not any longer! Now we have a new, dynamic, and at moments demanding descent that takes us down to the waterfalls alley and further into the amazing wilderness of Stara planina, without returning to "civilization". This is a video of that drivethrough.
