Very great video! While I haven't read the manga, from your description it seems the anime was very faithful to the source material. I remember guessing some twists correctly while others threw me for a loop, but then made sense once put in context with earlier scenes. That is good writing and makes this series a gem. Shame its an underrated one, it would get a lot of deserved praise from a wider audience.
Thanks so much! I actually haven't seen the anime myself but I'm glad that it's a good adaptation. I find it really odd that Astra isn't more popular, it has everything you'd need for mainstream appeal for sure!
It's definitely worth a watch, the first and last episodes are an hour long each, (which is something I don't actually recall from other shows I've watched so far). They took time to set up and wrap up the series. Length and content wise, the series nails it. Its not dragged out and not simplified either.
That's amazing, it's absolutely a good sign that they took the time to nail the beginning and ending. I'll have to give it a watch one of these days then!
