Same here. I can’t stop crying for this beautiful lady. It just breaks my heart she was in such pain and she couldn’t find her way. Heaven gained an angel while the rest of us try to make sense of life.

I agree with you. I feel as though I've lost a close family member. My thoughts and prayers are with Wynonna, Ashley, Larry and the family, friends and all of the fans!

@@MISNM0 thank you for saying that. I had my own loss of light. I lost my mom back in 2014, so the anniversary of her passing is actually tomorrow. So I, along with many others understandhow Wynonna and Ashley feel.

I swear that Mother Nature must be the heart of everything and where our energy restores to after our time on earth.

@@MISNM0 wow, I wasn't expecting that....before I finished what you wrote...I was already in tears. However, u asked if there was something about my mom I would like to honor...and yes there is... I know that life can be hard for everyone...and everyone has a different story..but I also know that no one's life is less than anyone else's due to what they go through in life. For my mom, my sister and me....we are all we had. My mom was strong, a lot stronger than a lot of people gave her credit for. A single mom of 2 girls in the 70's and 80's. And a survivor of spousal abuse. My mom had a good heart, and a strong mind. And the moment she walked away from that abuser was both the weakest and strongest moment of her life. And I will always be proud and grateful to her for getting us out of there, even with a broken arm and jaw. That's what I want to honor her for, her strength and love. So thank you for letting me do this....I appreciate it...and appreciate you for giving the opportunity.

Please know that even though YOUR affirmation has been truly unexpected to me it is not me that speaks to you. I can't believe I'm going down this path because in real life it's difficult to speak out loud this way..... On anything that I ever get right is either Love or Truth, not me. (And I'm not a Christian so not even talking about that version of God). Pain from being a Survivor of Suicide Loss is something I've only ever had distance knowledge about for the longest. (I am not an SOSL) I'm hoping that those who also aren't can see wisdom or compassion in how I'm forming these sentences and apply that to their own outreach for people living with your reality. From what I understand the pain and questions endure and what can be easily recalled is the additional pain heaped on by people with "good intentions". It is Everything that that seems to be the outcome for you and I'm so damned glad that the reach was attempted. But again, if anything is right it isn't 'me' but I'm proud (privileged) to be a vessel.

My dad played guitar and they always played on the weekends, and us kids always sang all the songs they sung, danced, they would play all night sometimes, the Judds had a huge role in my childhood, lots of songs. "Rockin with the rhythm of the rain"-SWFL

Ever since Naomi's passing, I've watched all their old videos. Back in 1995-96, their music really helped me through a difficult time in my life. I will be forever grateful.

Naomi always acknowledged that she was just decorating Wynonna's vocals. She wasn't a great singer, but she was a great Mom.

@@magnificentfailure2390 she had a lot to do with their success though…that is to be certain. She wrote this song which is one of my favorites. Wynonna might be one of the greatest vocalists ever in Country Music (Male or Female)….she is that good. I saw her a couple of years ago…simply unreal….effortless…so powerful.

Naomi's voice wrapped around Wynonna's voice in a beautiful harmony when they sang together. I remember when I first heard them I went out to buy the cd and then the next cd. It was at a time in my life where I was in a very unhappy marriage which included domestic violence. In 1986 I managed to get out of the marriage and it was just me and my daughter from then on. The 80s wasn't kind to me. But I listened to a lot of country music at the time and there was a lot of great artists and The Judds were part of it. I am very sad about Naomi's passing. She was very beautiful.

She retired because she got a diagnosis in which she was told she only had 3 years to live. How would you spend your last three years if you knew you were dying ? I’ve heard she miraculously was cured and I’ve heard she was misdiagnosed…. either way, it was the only decision she knew to make at that time. They eventually toured and performed again.

Amen. I think when she had to quit singing, her darkness began. So very very sad. She worked so hard to get there. Could have brought her back when she went into remission. So sad. God bless you, naomi

Nope, daughters provided her the ultimate care for her hep C and her depression. Both loved her dearly as she them. Mental depression gets harder to treat as you age. Lot of other shit going on with your body as you age. Naomi toured much with Wy after her Hep C recovery. I firmly believe there were other health problems going on with Naomi at age 76 that made her mental depression difficult to manage.

The Judds should have been inducted into Country music hall of fame 20 damn years ago! They waited way too long!!!!!!😫😫😫😡
