I don't know if Canada's Got Talent is showcasing the contestants talents or the highlight their production team's editing skills or the camera crew's work? It's confusing lmao

@@gabrielgray They weren't saying bad about the person. They're simply talking about the crappy camera transitioning. They kept going back and forth when there was no need for it. They did amazingly well and we'd like to be able to see the performance in its entirety rather than everything else that's going on.

@@gabrielgray FFS calm down, they are trying to help "your friend" and the rest of the contestants have their moment. The editing of these clips is absolute trash and doesnt allow the viewer to actually appreciate the performer fully

Once you've seen her once who wants to see her bending into a pretzel again? Not exactly a unique act. She may be flexible now. In her later years she's going to have serious spinal issues from all that abnormal stress on vertebrae and discs
@KNOWSOMEHOT
@KNOWSOMEHOT Год назад
Are you familiar with the contortion discipline yourself or is it just all plain bullcrap? The opposite is true about spinal issues, research has shown that you will have a unhealthy back compared to people who do proper backbends later on lol.

@@janiceal-najjar5093 hate when non-contortionists spread misinformation. A simple Google search would provide you with the reality that contortion does less long-term damage than most college-level sports. The only reality to your statement is that the woman in this video does happen to have EDS, which can potentially cause joint issues, but with proper training they can still practice contortion. They generally need to increase strength training to control the level of flexibility. But most contortionists don't have EDS anyway. Compare it to bodybuilding. Are some bodybuilders training unhealthy amounts and taking steroids? Sure. But would it be accurate to say that bodybuilding is unhealthy in general because of this? Yes, and it's the same with contortion. Overstretching and forcing stretches one isn't ready for can cause issues, but like any sport, it can be done safely as well. It's an art form that has been around for centuries, and many contortions can train well into their 40s 50s, and even 60s. It's like any other sport, and I'm tired of people saying it's dangerous simply because they aren't familiar with it.

@@KNOWSOMEHOT The act on AGT has Ehlers Danlos Syndrome, so yes.... she does run the risk of permanently damaging her musculoskeletal by over extension and twisting over time.
@KNOWSOMEHOT
@KNOWSOMEHOT Год назад
@@catsinskates I have EDS too, practice contortion plus a background in fysiotherapy aswell, so if you want to tell me you know more then I do, please do tell!
