The Jurassic World Dominion alternative ending

I was really sad that we didn't get this ending cause it would be: 1. Nostalgic. 2. I think that many fans wanted it. 3. It would end rivality between rex and spino fans.

Dude this is amazing and this would've been a million time better than what we got in the actual film it's both nostalgic and epic.

I love how the Spino tried to pull his infamous T-Rex neck snapping kill, but fails thanks to the Giga's own "sail". Edit: Okay I get what they're called now. No need to correct me anymore as there's already dozens of people doing that lol.

I have recently discovered, thanks to a podcast for Jurassic World Dominion, that the Spinosaurus was considered to appear in Jurassic World: Dominion originally and it would’ve helped Rexy to fight the Giganotosaurus, just like in this video. That means that this video was supposed to be the original ending of the film. But it was removed and replaced with an ending where Buck and Doe would’ve helped Rexy, and this was also be replaced by the Therizinosaurus. Why they had to do that? Why they couldn't just go with the original final battle planned and make it? They could have done it (allowing us to seen our favourite Spinosaurus back on an epic battle of the 3 largest predators dinosaurs of all time, and making him to change from being antagonist to a hero or antihero, which I think its a good evolution for him) and instead they changed it. It makes me so mad just thinking of it. That's why I'm glad to see this video all over and over again, because of...besides been the true one that the movie should have had from the very beginning, it also show us a pretty good example of the mistakes that producers make without realizing and we are the ones that show them how they should have done it.

This made me feel more glee than the _actual_ fight, and it was nothing but a bunch of drawings lol Also, it reminded me about how toned down the film was in general. Outside of the Giga, Dodgeson and some CGI humans, it was less bloody than a freaking Sci-Fi channel movie!

Many of us here agree on the fact this dude made a better fight scene than Colin Trevorrow...👌❤️💯💯

Definitely the ending we needed. Love some of the call backs to previous movies, like when the Spino tried pulling the neck snap back in JP3 and the roar with all 3 dinos just like in World.

Love this. I do still believe the Giga really hasn’t done anything to warrant it being a “villain” though. It would’ve been much cooler to see the Giga and Rex team up against the new raptors, only for them to be losing and the Spino shows up to help.

This battle has so much nostalgia it made a tear came out. I miss when movie were this amazing

I’d say it’s the perfect ending if the human parts weren’t in it, I don’t think the humans would’ve been as invested in the fight as much and would’ve probably even more focused on getting the hell out of there, other than that I think this is glorious

This movie wouldve been redeemed if the Giga was the main antagonist and had more screen time, if the Spino had came out at the end and saved the trex, instead of fighting each other it’d be like “the enemy of my enemy” quote. And if the atrociraptors/pyroraptor had more screen time, they could’ve been shown fighting Sorna raptors from TLW and JP3

This is just wholesome as two enemies that were rivals for like 2 centuries fight against a bigger threat

For this to have been properly built up to, we start the movie with the left out part with the T-rex vs Giga scene in the past to build up Rexy vs the Giga's rematch. In the movie while Owen and group are trekking through the forest, we hear the Spino's roar, as it approaches the group. They duck behind a log as it moves past them. They realize it is not moving towards them but a Titanosaur. Spino gets a tad bit injured, but kills the sauropod with a brutal hit to the neck. The Spino goes in to eat its kill as the Giga comes out of nowhere and headbutts it, knocking it to the ground. The Spino gets up slowly with anger in its eyes as the Giga roars at it; thus the spino meanders off with its rightful kill stolen. Later when Rexy has her squabble with the Giga, we get a shot of the Spino in the distance, watching Rexy also get bullied by the Giga through thick foliage. For these scenes to fit we'd cut out a large portion of the meaningless talking parts. (Repost from another channel)

I personally would have kept the Theri alive; have it attempt to fight the Giga at first but then have it retreat after almost getting greviously injured. Regardless though, this animation was badass and it would have made for a much more satisfying conclusion, although I am curious as to whether the Giga was killed or just pinned and defeated by the end of the animatic.

Enemy become Allies, and having Alan Grant lure them was a great idea, Ironically how he and his group lured the Rex to the Spino but in this situation is the Spino being lured to aid the Rex. Great animation and new ending

I would have 100% loved to see this over the actual ending. I hated how much of a pushover the giga was honestly, and this fight could've showcased it's fighting a little better. Obviously it would still have to lose, but a 3-way therapod fight would've been so awesome.

I'm going to be honest. We needed a rex Vs giga 1v1. As well as more development on their rivalry

Would love to see this animated or in unreal engine, if this is how the scene would have went, it would have been so much better. Hot take but the spino has always been my favorite, even tho it’s not technically accurate, it has always looked sick to me. I was really hoping they would bring the spino back, especially since CC showed that it has grown and changed a little bit, the three largest carnos fighting it out would have been such a good send off for the franchise.

This totally reminds me of a fight scene out of Primal. I don’t care about Jurassic World, didn’t even see Dominion, but this rocks

As much as I do love the final fight that we got in the final version of the movie I wish that this actually happened in the final ending where the spinosaurus can get some love and redemption from Jurassic Park 3 and given even more love with it saving a T-Rex 😭😭😭

The way spino goes for neck is really iconic

I'm going to be completely honest- I loved this ending but the one thing that could've made it a bit better was if the theri was still alive and probably ran off instead. But this is just my opinion but I love this ending a lot! :]

We all here agree that this here is the fight that we needed at the end of the movie.

This is an awesome animation, but I feel the best way to end it would've been with no fight. We haven't gotten much T Rex chase action or character death in the past couple of movies, we really needed some of that or just another Giga chase, either way we needed more human death, the movie had no stakes and that kinda ruined it for me. Also don't kill the Theri, it was the only part I really liked about this movie. Still coping that we never got Spino to appear in live action again though.

Absolutely amazing animation. Wish colinn had used this approach. So many of us wanted the spino to come back and this was done seamlessly. Only thing is instead of the theri dying, it could get badly injured and try to fight back but see the spino before the camera turns to it and flee. Then hear the bellow and pan to the spino emerging from the tree line

I cannot believe how much better this was. Your ending really solidified the giga as an actual villain, not one acting out of animal instincts. also spino is a big win. SOMEONE GIVE THIS MAN A JOB

We all know the makers of the film tried to kill rexy in the final fight. But they were too scared of the consequences

I would rather in my opinion have Theri alive but unconscious or have retreated, and the Spino to appear on his own instead of Alan calling him, cause I would love Alan and the JP3 characters to have a shock reactions. And then in the end, Spino and Rexy stood on the dead Giga and roared in victory. Shame Dominion is the last movie.

The fact that the Giga didn’t even kill someone or in anyway do something wrong kinda sucks. They definitely could of somehow made him do something that was bad before killing him.

I have a hard time with that kind of idea, I mean, I have a hard time imagining the Spinosaurus allying with a Rex. Rexy might, but the spino is a pure loner and too aggressive a hybrid to team without mind control. Honestly I would have liked the Giga to survive, he was not a villain, just a carnivore who did what he had to do, too bad because he was the only one of his kind. Other than that the video is still very nice :) .

I would get if anyone were to criticize the fact that with everything that already happened in this movie that it would have Spino to come out of literally nowhere but to see the old crew again and imagine what kind of funny and nostalgic dialogue they could say from just Spino being there and a fight like this in general could give this movie more life

This version is way better! Thats the sort of battle we have all been waiting for! I'm not sure the humans constantly shining lights to help and using the flare would be accurate. They are animals at the end of the day just living their lives, but I guess those characters might be a bit attached to rexy. I think after rexy got up and it was a 2v1 giga would have walked away. That would be the perfect ending for me

Yes this would be the ending we all want but killing theri is a little cold cause it was a new creature and the ending we got is fine cause most Carnivores feared the therizinosaurus cause of its strong and deadly claws

The one thing that’s missing here is Rexy’s eye dilating when she wakes up. I thought that was a cool reference in the movie. Other than that I love this, except for maybe the Theri dying. That felt like a little much.
