Yeah, and somehow his healing factor is absent too. Non sun dipped superman can regrow a lost limb in minutes. Let alone 5 years in the sun. Even the kids cartoon JLU showed off Clark's regular healing factor by having a clone rip it's own head open and healing in seconds.

@@DaikaSama the difference being the rate of improvement. Superman is guaranteed to get noticeably stronger with each passing second he's in the sun. Meanwhile, it's hard to say if any of the league members can make noticeable improvements within any given week save for Clark's son who improves at a much slower rate because he's not actively eating the sun. Even if they get a massive boost in one particular month, Clark's rate of improvement would simply outpace theirs when accounting for the year as a whole, unless they can get massive amps consistently. Clark consistently goes from getting his shit rocked, to on par or stronger to some threats by going into the sun for a few seconds (not 10s most of the time) and leaving.

Superman's healing factor might be the single most inconsistent thing about him at this point. Sometimes its there, but its more of an accelerated healing rather than proper healing factor, only helping him heal minor flesh wounds after hours of recovery. Sometimes it's completely absent. Other times its wolverine level without even needing to sun dip or go into orbit, he can heal a hole in his skull and brain in seconds, have his throat ripped out and heal almost instantly to keep fighting,etc.

Ngl the whole concept of instead of being send to earth, Superman/Supergirl is sent to somewhere like new genesis is interesting asf. There should be a separate story where that is explored and they’re trained by the new gods

Firestorm for sure! While Jonny storm is powerful, he just has fire....meanwhile Firestorm has control over molecules!

Is it just me but Superman and Supergirl wearing oxygen masks? Wouldn't they burn up in the Sun? Is a crazy stupid that this is where my "suspension of disbelief" finally snaps?
