Also regarding enlightened beings going through sickness and physical hardships,its coz of the law of Karma.As long as they are in the physical plane all beings go through their Karmic consequences,whether its Krishna himself or a Sadhguru or a random person , the difference being that enlightened beings don't SUFFER the consequences like us normal beings. Sadhguru's brain issue maybe coz of his high pranic activities for our sake.The Dhyanlinga consecration itself took years out of him.

The scriptures tells us what enlightenment is, what a bad guru is, etc. So, if you don't have them, how do you know what you're experiencing and if its real? Not reading scriptures is also ignorant. God wouldn't have given them to the world if we weren't to read them.

The Kali Yuga has been designated by scripture and is not a season. If its ended, than Sadhguru has information nobody else has nor can verify. Or, Sadhguru implies that if he's right than the scriptures are wrong, or the translations are wrong. If the translations are wrong, or just the scriptures themselves, then we're all screwed, as we have nothing to go on. But, if he's right and the scriptures are wrong, than can we even say Sadhguru is a guru? He bases his position on the scriptures, but if the scriptures are wrong than he doesn't have much firm ground to stand on. Also, he's said that folks always claimed that they did their bad deeds because it was the Kali Yuga, but nobody says this. This is the same guy who advocates not reading scriptures ... cause if you do you'll find out how wrong he is. He knows his followers haven't, so he can throw stuff out at them that feels good but isn't right.

Nothing you just blindly believe better that those are experiencing truth yourself, and even Vedas says all scriptures are only to point to guide you but when you experience that's ultimate knowledge

Experience is separate from religion when u represents religion ur knowledge have to be based on scripture. Sadguru get his knowledge from hindu text but he don’t claim he is from any religion. that’s problematic because ur taking about kalyug, shiva etc and ur saying ur not hindu. He wouldn’t know about this without scripture

Next I'm not talking about what Sadguru claims himself to be but my point is to people who think spirituality is all about scriptures and scriptural knowledge, spirituality is an experience even most illiterate of people can get spiritual Realization based on their dedication, devotion and meditation. But in general society can achieve enlightenment on mass hence we have scriptures to guide day to day life and religious aspects so that people can benefit but it doesn't mean you don't get enlightenment without scriptures. Even Vedic scriptures States ultimate knowledge can only be experienced not expressed in language or scriptures. Next Sadguru doesn't claim to be Hindu because of political reasons, under TN gov act if you identify yourself as Hindu teacher all your land and property will be under government control. Sadguru does acknowledge the value of scriptures he made the entire series on Mahabharat but what he's against is that you can't be spiritually elevated unless you can to scriptures.
