Tyreek was really an Oklahoma State player. There were things that went on there but he was OSU. He and Mahomes scored their first Div 1A (FBS) TD in the same game...as opponents. Texas Tech vs Oklahoma State. Just sayin'. Don't remember exactly what led to this West Alabama thing. Might have been legal trouble. But looking back at that time in college, it was more fitting and relevant to recall his Oklahoma State play. And I'm neither a Tech or OSU fan. Big 12, yes, but I'm not biased to OSU. I just remember having to face his speed. Noone else in college was a match at the time.

Chiefs are a dynasty because they chose wisely (got lucky) drafting a QB years ago. Same goes for Patriots. I definitely give them credit for making great drafting picks... and because the rest of this roster is fairly well managed, you can conclude it was more than luck to pick Mahomes. But this is no deeper than that. If they never get Mahomes, they don't have any of this.

Yeah, they identified a talent and gave up extremely valuable draft capital for the guy they obviously had faith was the right guy. And they did this when they already had a QB they were winning with. Smith was doing what was asked of him and Reid was able to win with him. To give up the capital they gave up when they already had a QB shows Reid is the greatest HC ever. He didn’t get lucky in the 6th round and then only play him because the starter got hurt. KC had a plan and that’s why they are a dynasty. Is any of what I said false? No.
