First of thank you for reciting the history of KARBI . I am very glad to know a little bit about KARBI and presented very well . I hope I will be able to hear second part. Keep it up sis.
I am from South India. It is great to learn about so many historic and wonderful places, products, people and culture of Assam and North East which many Indians in rest of India do not know about. Thanks to VLoggers and RU-vidrs who bring such amazing videos to the world and help us know about this great Indian state. But there should have been English subtitles
Karbi is very good tribe without any negative feeling, of course now a days many people will express their way of life, but in reality, they are very good. They are hinduism or sana tana dharma in Karbi they are called as honghari, but now a days many are Christian. Of course i always appreciate this people.
Madam, Thong Nokbe (Thong Teron was not a son of Kareng Rongpharpi. (Rongpharpi Rongbe) . Kareng Rongpharpi was a daughter of the first king of Karbi community. That king had no son. Only one daughter named Kareng Rongpharpi. She got married to a man titled Ronghang.( Not Teron) After the king died his son in law titled Ronghang ( husband of Rongpharpi Rongbe) became the 2nd king of karbi community.
Etymology. The word Diphu came from the language karbi which basically came from the conversation as the child said to his grandfather "hithi mesen di phu" which mean the market is awesome right grandfather, it usually came from the good conversation between them.
Though the karbi tribe has less population than that of kacharis or any other tribes but it is true that the karbis was the only tribe who came and settled first in the northeastern region and they have there ancient history before the kacharis or some other tribes were not exist in the region and also they have started seh karkli and Chomkan not in the time of kacharis king and ahom king.No one is perfect to tell the history of karbi tribe.
@@chingthurronghang17 ROFL. The Caryapad -the ancestor of Kamrupi script found was written by a Kaiwarta. Oral history of tribals are corrupted bull$hit. Whereas written document from other kingdoms have confirmed that Kaiwartas were much older in here.
