youre not just the least annoying way to get information about people im passively curious about, youre so good at what you do that i watch your videos just to watch you even if ive never fkn heard of the people. youre great at putting words together and being like.... just like a good person?? lmfao which so many people struggle with for some reason... 🙄 as well as being kind and absolutely ruthless in all the right moments (with a couple exceptions which you... always acknowledge). youre like.... litrally the best??? thanks

@@saffronlafromboise maybe because it's an election year? Idk election years always feel quite tense and serious. Not to mention we started off 2020 with "WW3" trending and also a pandemic 👀

Maryam Dadar I used to be in a fundamentalist Christian cult. After a while of being out, I started trying to warn ppl on social media. One of the followers took it upon himself to text me a cease and desist via Instagram dm lmao 👀

These companies reach out to me a LOT to be one of those people who pay to get followed - usually it's around $2000 that they ask for. I always ignore the emails bc what in the world, but so many people are really falling for this!!
I'm glad I came across your comment because I didn't even know I wanted to manifest something until I watched one of your videos lol...I hope it works even though I'm not sure how to do it
I like how you said in the beginning that Kardashians are sharp bussiness women. People quickly underestimate their cleverness but you can't deny the fact that they know how to handle (even manipulate) the public eye and play their cards right.
"Breaking news. The Kardashians are morally and intellectually bankrupt" Oh great. Let me go get that twenty foot long list and add another mark to the tally. They're on a roll. At this rate, they'll break the quintouple digits by the end of the month
Bitter much? This isn’t morally compromising for them. This is a buisness deal for them. It’s not their job to make sure the people buying followers aren’t getting fucked over. That’s their dumbass fault.
@@trinkaaaaaaa7561 they're the Kardashians and can pay people to make sure these companies are ethical but they don't because why should they care if other people are getting screwed over so long as they get a check?

@@NAME-yg8sl They're famous for arguing and doing nothing, I dont understand why they're famous but they are, I can think of so many people who actually deserve to be famous
FR they promote dangerous products and shit. Apart from that, their followers are like bots, they'd literally do anything and bully anyone for these influencers. Cyanide influencers are a good example, Lauren with the highest followers of all three was the most defended one! It's crazy how blinded people can become while sincerely following someone LMFAO. It's like the cult behaviour. How do you think delusional and attention seeking people like Shallon Lester has a huge cult-like following and most of them defend her. Jeffree Star is another example of that. (There are so many more people, I have nothing against for the people mentioned, they're just good examples of the dark side of the influencer culture) Influencer culture does have a bright side, some do charity and stuff, they ask their followers to do the same, which is great and helps a lot. I honestly think the dark side is much more stronger in play. A lot of influencers will do anything for money, anything for attention and their brainwashed followers will nod their head to them. They might get into controversy, but people like you and I will forget about it in a day and move on, they'll make apologies and get people to sympathize with them and gain more ride or die type following. That's what being controversial for attention beings you - more followers who blindly sympathise with you with no opinions of sense to think for themselves and form an opinion on the person, rather they'd believe everything they see and hear. It's very common among teens who are more impressionable. Even if the influencer or person with huge following (say, musician) is a good person and tried to do good, this obsessed, cult followers will try to do some harm. I was a Harry Styles fan back in my teen days, Harry is an amazing person, but I know to what extent the fans would go for different reasons, from bullying to self harm, to doxxing a person, mainly done from jealousy. So I kinda mixed up toxic influencer culture and toxic fan culture, but they're so interdependent and they coexist! They cause a lot of damage to people.
theyre a business though, not a person. even if we see a person on the surface, theyre still a business. its like mr beast...jakes video made it clear his "group" arent his friends, theyre just co-workers, thats when it hit that even youtubers are just a business.
Even worse is D'Angelo Wallace pays the marketing firm I work for for likes on here and can't even get that many. It's all silly he's even talking about it.
When I saw that Curated Businesses was an Australian company, I checked its registration for you with our Securites and Investment Commission: sure enough, it is a registered company with a single director. The company's registered address and principal place of business for the last year has been that of an accountant operating from a suburban home in Brisbane, Queensland. The director of the company was also listed on a model website ten years ago as a makeup-artist based in Sydney, NSW but her business-website from that time no longer exists. In the state of Queensland where this company is based, promotional games or competitions of this type do not require a licence and are not overseen by the Office of Liquor and Gaming Regulation, the relevant government body of that state.

same!! i seriously have been deleting social media and sticking with reality as in doing more realistic things, i feel so much better by doing this. i have gotten so out of it by how toxic and fake social media has become i was no longer able to handle it, i highly recommend everyone to just go off social media and spend the hours you spend scrolling through toxic and draining posts, you can spend those hours doing more useful things that are at least more handy.
Superb....you should explore more on pod groups so called organic follow and commenting by bloggers/ influencers :) Big time tea where i live, everyone knows yet no one addresses from celebs, news channels and youtube celebs are in these pod groups across facebook, whatsapp and instagram :P these loops work only for certain period what I noticed was during pandemic none of the million follower influencers even tried to post or reach out to their fanbase. they were treated like trash and abused across social media do your research you will get to know.
Also didn’t Alyssa Violet post the same flex pic and promote a similar giveaway opportunity and was found to have scammed her fans in some way as a result
I think they named the girls with K names because of Kris and the only boy had to carry his dad's name... It's actually pretty smart of Kris to convince 2 men to name their kids with a K because of her.
@@opticalyoutube5597 so...Rob is the youngest Kardashian born to Kris and Robert Kardashian. I'd say it's likely that he's simply named for his father.
As an Australian person, I can whole-heartedly say that we are extremely fucking far away from everywhere else. You couldn't mail something to the states that fast unless you had access to an ICBM.
Hahaha that cracked this Aussie up! But it’s totally possible as Monday AU time is Sunday LA time and they say they received them Tuesday LA time. 13.5 hour flight to LA. I still think it’s a crock of shit though.
@@Bolted_C nah, you're totally right, actually. I was a moron and didn't consider the fact they time zones are a thing. Too many flat earth videos I think. In any case, you'd probably have to be lucky, good, and have very deep pockets for that to happen. I think some super time-critical shipments guarantee next flight hops, and can literally be as fast as if you were to mail it there yourself, in person. It is quite amazing what logistics networks can pull off when the only thing you care about is speed and not cost. Still, it's not like a lottery scam to shell out for good shipping, is it? I'm also curious enough to see if I can find these clowns vis ABN or lotto license lookups. To me it seems almost like there's just one clown running this show, because the same spelling and grammatical wet farts seem to be present in of the demonstrated posts by 'them'. Glad I gave you a chuckle, though. I'm painfully unfunny. Somewhat, well, pun-ishing, really. I'll stop now.
Moon Moon haha great minds. So a search of the business name on ABN LookUp. I took a look last night and wrote a long comment about it as I went right down the rabbit hole. Sole trader, not registered for GST (so apparently not making over $75k), abn registered one NSW but business name address is registered in Noosaville. Apparently the toddler child is some sort of insta famous with nearly 1million subscribers too and spends its life in nothing but designer head to toe. It’s bizarre. There’s been articles about the legalities in NSW as well.

In some parts of the US, that's just the accent. Where I live now, the words 'pen' and 'pin' sound like the exact same word (both use the short 'i' sound). It's not wrong, just vernacular.
I say Kine-dial because I'm annoying and so are the Kardashians. Our difference is I'm annoying in a funny way. They're annoying because they're the spoiled brat kids from gacha.
I paid more attention to his accent after reading this comment and I noticed that he also pronounces ten as tin and idk why it so adorable/funny to me 😂😂
When I was like ten and desperate to be it famous I would get fake follower apps, and to get followers and not pay you would have to follow other users of the app. When I was following them celebrities would pop from time to time, the only ones I remember are Kanye West, Kylie Jenner, and surprisingly ldshadowlady. This was all seven years ago, so I can't say for sure whether they still do this
Well to tell you the truth everytime i do a giveaway and say the name of the winner people stalk them online and give them so much hate ! It has gotten so bad where i just feel like a giveaway will do so much harm than help my viewers and if you are asking .. no a giveaway has never gotten me much traffic or subscribers they just subscribe then unsub after i say the winners names so as a tactic to gain views of followers it never helps it just puts a smile on one person .... and not to forget the hate comments ... pretty sad ... and the bad part is i thought about not saying their names but people will just say that iam cheating and it was a haux .. so yeah i think its a true giveaway and that they did it thinking it will get them many viewers and followers but instead they have people wainting for another contest to join in and if they dont have another giveaway do know a big amount will unfollow latter on ..
Thanks for sharing your personal experience as an influencer! Very interesting... I'm both surprised and not surprised at the same time. Giveaways seem like such a fun way to give back to the viewers, so it's a shame when it backfires.
Giveaways where people have to work to win are much better imo. Like ask them to make a video or artwork or something like that. There might be fewer participation but at least they get judged by their work so it's a genuine contest and people don't feel cheated out of something.
The second girls picture, with the photo that had the bag she “won”, before she won,... the bag in the photo is actually old. It’s saggy. Louis Vuitton takes months, even years to sag like that. So she must of just had the same style bag before.
Those “follow these accounts” contests are dumb and so annoying. Even when RU-vidrs do them . I just end up unfollowing/unsubbing them. Or just use my fake insta , and even then I still unfollow them after a while
Normally when youtubers say hey follow me on Instagram for this giveaway, it's a youtuber I like and watch often because I made it to the end of the video. But the thing is, I dont even like Instagram so I have an account just for that sort of thing. I wish the rules could just be to subscribe or comment, instead of me having to get a whole new account on a different platform that I use maybe a few times a year.
I have another insta which is my fake/stalker insta that I use to follow people that have a private or for giveaways ;-; I haven’t done anything with it yet because I don’t have any followers tho so if you could follow @celestialmilk_xo it would give me a chance to use it
D'angelo: making a video about suspicious follower growth Also D'Angelo: "I have 216k followers right now but I want one million" and achieves 1 million 3 months later... Just a joke haha I know you deserve it ❤️
Omg... that comment about SA in Australia. It's the smallest state and our capital city is tiny. I can't believe someone from my state made it to this video 😂😂why do i feel proud.
That relatable moment when you go to school and your friends are talking about this new show named good luck kcharlie and you haven’t watched it and you feel bad :(
I have had multiple companies like this email me to “get in on growing your following” and I have seen them charge anywhere from $200 to $2500 for these campaigns. To me it just seems scammy; I would rather have a smaller, engaged following than lose that kind of money and still have a small following that looks like a big one 😂.
Omg thank you so much for this video. As a smaller style blogger I have friends who have done these kardashian loops...they pay INSANE amounts to be a part of them...and sure their following grows but it’s so inflated and probably 95% of those ppl only followed to win the giveaway, not bc they’re actually interested in their content, and then those influencers who participated who now have a much later percentage of followers who don’t care about their posts and won’t engage, now have to buy fake likes to keep the facade going. I wish brands would start waking up to this but it seems like so far, they have not
