You just keep on doing what you are doing, Charles. There always needs to be an affordable artisan in the market place. It doesn't mean that you are any less talented or hardworking than they are, just see less importance in a high-profit margin. I am not in a position to afford even your handles. But a scratch and dent might just change that.
I feel you on the Karve aggression… people were complaining that the C plate wasn’t doing anything to their beard?! I’m like well I better start there. So I ordered the stainless Karve with the C plate and my first shave was a bloody nightmare! Now admittedly I gave the razor no respect. I did get a good shave using it but I also did a cold water shave with a Voshkod. So I just got my B plate in and I some TOBS grapefruit so we’ll see how that goes. But I’m sure my Feather AS-D2 will still get plenty of use in the rotation. On a side note… I’ll buy a brush from you since we’re Karve blood brothers
I really enjoy all the Craving Shaving brushes. Great price and even better quality. Keep up the good work and excited to see more beautiful brushes in the shop!
Thanks, Charles. I totally agree with you about handles that don't come out perfect. I missed out on a blue handle I liked waiting for Payday. 😢 That granite-like one looks cool too! I'd have bought that one if I'd seen it. 😅
Glad you found a better combination! I might be in the market for a Karve as well so I'll see how the B plate goes. Awesome drop this weekend, by the way. 👍👍
I will take the suggestion to raise my price as a compliment, but I don't think I'll raise my price just to raise them. I never even tried the D plate and I think the E plate would kill me! Haha
How are you liking the AA - A plates with the Karve? I have pretty sensitive skin myself so the Karve with the milder plates might be up my alley. I use the Feather AS-D2 primarily at the moment. Cheers
Honestly, they aren't my favorite, but they are still great. I like the Rockwell 6C better. I've never tried the Feather AS-D2, but I'm sure I'd love it. It's just hard to justify buying it on my salary
@@CravingShaving Ah okay. I went ahead and ordered the AA + A plates. It is hard to justify given the cost (+ 25% tax via customs) and the fact that I already have the Feather, but what can you do...
Considering you like mild razors with no blade feel, do you ever achieve BBS? Also what’s your favorite razor? top 3? Would really appreciate your input, thanks :)
With my facial hair growth I can achieve a BBS with a mild razor, but I don't chase them much. My absolute favorite razor was one I got from West Coast Shaving. It was a promotion and it was a prototype that never came to fruition as far as I know. It also broke a while back, which was devestating. My favorites these days are probably 3. Fine Marvel 2. King C. Gillette 1. Rockwell 6C on plate 3
Its great to see you actually having a great shaving experience! I don't catch every single video but it seems like things have been irritating your face for awhile now.
