Kate sang at a time when lyrics were as important as the melody. I wish even the judges on The Voice would listen to Kate sing. Their judging standards would change! And Jack Miller's band does not overwhelm the singer, although I don't think any band would overwhelm Kate Smith! They would be overwhelmed by her wonderful voice!
