Yes. I have the Honda Grom 125. 125's are highly underrated, and yet they're extremely manoeuvrable and heaps of fun. They're also ideal for city commutes. And topping at 100kph, I can still hit the freeway for short distances.

I loved the 125's back in the day, especially the 2 strokes, the DT, KMX, then you had the more racing style of RD125, AR125. All worth a fortune these days if you have a tidy one in the back of the garage. These days I have Mt350 Ex army, fazer 600 and a ZZR1100. All are great bikes for different reasons.

An AR 50cc can be £5000, I knew two brothers one had a 50 the other 80cc he bored the 50 out to 90cc, I had the TSX125 & my best pal had the DT125, he killed himself on it, I just have 88 YZ supersport 250 now.

I'm about half a year into my downsize from a ZX9RE1 to a 125 monkey and I don't really miss it much, done 20yrs of big bikes and lost my bike mojo and the monkey has rekindled that for some time, love it, also have a 25mph 50cc zoomer which is what made me think I could downsize and still enjoy rides, even if mainly on backroads and byways..

Great review. Passed my theory test in December now waiting for the weather to warm up to do my CBT buy a 125 ride it for a while then go for mod 1 and mod 2 direct access scheme. I think I'll buy the Ninja 125 as my first bike.

I'll have to downgrade from a Z 650 to a 125 soon because I could not do my exam in time. I'm still waiting to be able to try a gsx-r 125 and I have to say I'm pretty excited about trying it out and being able to go full throttle all the time! It's honestly a little sad how hard it is to find good content about 125 from people who also ride bigger bikes, thanks for this great video!

Im a experienced 125 rider from the days of the RG125 deristricted 2 stroke days,aprilia,cagiva so forth etc Rg,gamma,wolf days but times move on emission levels n thing, hence 4 strokes Watched your vids and your spot watched many reviews but this is the best advert for all new riders,Your one I Have to say is the pinnacle of reviews,yu said everything ple need to know about what the bike can do,Yu should do more about long distance on a ninja or any 125 because the myth is yu cant travel because yu have not got a big bike,when yu only need 60 most highways(Not on about Motorways)but if yu know yu got 70 as and when excellent Review Don for the learners,,,Five star,do more 125s its appreciated🙏Ride Safe All.....Respect 👊

Tbh I love my Honda CB125F 2021, reaches its 60mph in Gear 4, on a flat straight you'll get 65 in Gear 5. Perfect for commuting as all of the roads on my route are 60mph, sporty looking bike too. Unfortunately it has been stolen, but I'm strongly considering the Ninja 125 to replace it for that extra bit of torque to get up hills at those 60 limits and that initial 0-60 acceleration on entering 60's from roundabouts will be a huge help too

If you are already paying for a car then owning a bike will cost you more to insure. Not worth it these days if it isn't your only mode of transport. You are better just getting an e-bike and running it at 30mph.

Waiting for this on asia for a very long time. Bump it up to 150cc to compete with 150cc entry level on other motorcycles.

I have to say I love my cbr125r, but it does have it's limits. I can't wait to get my big bike test passed and buy a zxr400 and rip through some country roads, keeping up with 70mph traffic is such a challenge 😂

Just passed my cbt at 37 years old never rode a bike would you recommend this as a first bike or go for the z125 will only be keeping for 6 months as will hopefully passed test for the larger bikes so it’s more a learner bike to get used to riding Will be getting a touring bike sick a the van for the 1.5 hour commute to work so in summer can use that instead

I'm going to do my CBT next year and was looking at saving up for a ninja as my first bike but my dad bought me a gsx-s125 so that's my bike for next year.

Not a bad choice either, my wife was originally commited to getting a gsxr/s 125 as her first bike, until she saw the ninja in the showroom. Can't go wrong with Suzuki 👍

im hoping to start my motorcycle cbt + theory test soon just gotta get past the final boss (My mum) plan is to go for ninja 125 or r125 as I'm 18 rn then either a higher end ninja or yamaha r7 with a restrictor kit applied on it when I turn 19 in October this year if I cant limit it probably just keep 125cc or limit it to 35kw till I turn 24 :( (sorry used 2 different metrics :D )

I already have a Fazer and a Royal Enfield Interceptor but I've actually been considering getting a 125 just for the 20 minute commute due to the frugal fuel costs and nimble control. You don't need a 600+ to do city commuting

Not road bikes. No. Only scooters. Unless you buy an electric bike which are junk. Its easy to do gears.

My 125cc days were back in the 80's, I had a Honda Superdream because it had two pistons and just looked like a bigger bike in general. The state of the roads nowadays, I'd probably pick a trail type bike, what with being 6ft tall,..all these sports bikes are too cramped and uncomfortable to me now.

Im 54 years off age would the ninja be for the younger person has ive just done my cbt and im looking to getting a bike spring or summer 2024 i like the look off the ninja it keeps up with the traffic

I'll stick with the ZX10R but this would be cool for something not sure what tho becuase I can ride the 1000 NE where I'd ride this just less throttle of course. Otherwise I'd just get an Enduro

Uphill with a heavy rider is painful. Acceleration at lights is NOT faster than cars begins. Great to learn on thoigh.

I actually think these are way more dangerous than the old 2 strokes, people do dumb shit to you when hills and headwinds slow you down, never had that problem on the DTR, that thing would pull 60mph up a cliff.

What are you trying to say? You’re making it seem like this bike is better than any other bike, like it has special powers that other bikes can’t do pointless video. Good job. Waste of money no reason to ever in anyone’s life ever get a 125 Ninja might as well get a dirt bike might as well forget super sports body types all around, that a bullshit waste of money
