I once impulse-bought a large T-rex robot toy that had a controller to walk it and make it roar. I gave it to a buddy when I was tired of it, and his kid was SOOO scared of it. So scared, in fact, that when the kid was acting up, my buddy only had to say "Don't make me get the dinosaur" for the kid to immediately break down lol.

Travis has the right if it. You keep turning that thing on, let the kids scream, and dont feed into the fear. Just simply tell them it's a toy/robot and nothing to be afraid. Pretty soon it wont be a big deal. You dont have to be mean or harsh about it but kids take cues from parents so if they see the parents react to the fear they're feeling then it just justifies that fear in their brains. "See mom/dad reacted when I felt fear so I MUST have had a legit reason to be afraid."
