I was attending college (HS) in France. OUr school principal had rentrd a 📺 TV so that we could shockingly watch the tragic event. In what used to be the nation of Yugoslavia a lot of boys were called John. The French nation hosted J.F. Kennedy and his wife like king and queen.
I saw jfk shot in Dallas on tv and then Bobby at the ambassador hotel. I was just a kid but knew it was bad. The Marilyn Monroe birthday song kinda confused me......
I was alive then.. We had hope.. Unbounded hope for a better world for all on the planet.. Evil was on the run but left a few cowards of the new life ahead hiding in the bushes to ambush our leaders.. I still weep for them and what might have been😪
I hear this singer on many videos. Very beautiful and haunting voice and music. Yes those two brothers were something else. Usually lighting doesn’t strike twice in the same family.
I was a child in England when the news of JFK 's death came over the radio in the kitchen. We all just sat there stunned into silence and disbelief. I cried watching the scenes in Dallas as I cried watching his funeral on tv. So much tragedy in one family, the brother and then, years after, the son, lost in a plane crash, the golden boy, lost forever too.
It struck four times actually - the oldest (Joseph) was a fighter pilot during WWII and died in a crash. He was only 29. Their sister, Kathleen, also died in a plane crash. She was only 28. What a tragedy.
I wasn’t yet born when the President or his brother were assassinated but I’ve always been very interested with their family’s history. Seems like too much trauma for one family. This video is beautifully done.
Imagine having 9 kids and 2 of them are shot / assassinated, and 2 of them die in plane crashes, and then a Grandson dies in a plane crash too. It really does seem like they are cursed.
Bobby probably wouldn't have run, Teddy would have stayed in the Senate and probably pulled his head out of his ass 30 years earlier. Who knows how that would have affected healthcare policy, not to mention Massachusetts and the modern day Democratic party

Truly a black day in American history, remember it well, we in India felt like we lost a family member. Abs made no sense, and then Bobby ... no words to express our grief even to this day.
After each tragedy gets you questioning what if? What if Joe Jr. didn't get on that plane, John didn't go to Dallas and Robert didn't go through kitchen route would they have lived....
Even then there was a lot of corruption and violence, racism, going on in the USA. We watched from the other side of the pond and wondered how long it would take to go wrong. Well, in 2016 it went wrong, terribly wrong. A lot of work to put things back on track.

What a great moment it was to have people with compassion leading the free world, people "who saw war for what it is and tried to stop it" and searched for "a peace not just in our time, but for all time". Of course, with those dark moments in 63 & 68, they became immortal, through martyrdom, they were frozen in time, somewhere near their peaks, like a legend from the Greek tragedies.

I wasn't even born when these 2 great men were assassinated but their tragic deaths haunt me and I keep asking why did they get killed? Who killed them? Why oh why???????? I wish the truth would come out one day, and justice is given to the souls of these two great men 🙏🙏🙏❤❤❤
Our own government killed JFK as he was insisting that the dollar bill be verifiable & backed by gold. The FED had different plans. A nut killed RFK. May they both rest in peace ⚘

Loved the music that accompanied this video. There seems to be a lot of nostalgia about the period when the John and Bobby were at the height of their power. I really only remember Bobby, but I do remember the early 1960's as being a time when life was good and when people really looked forward to the future with great optimism and hope. (P.S. I really miss those days!)
It looks beautiful like that, but it was a dark age for women ,liberties, civil Rights, wars...it's a powerful era ,everything that has been lost in that time has radically changed and effected our modern world greatly!!!!

I remember the funeral of JFK. I was 3 I turned 4 in January 1964. His death touched our household as it did all of America. Then Bobby being killed was unbelievable. There was always question of who was behind there assassinations. So sad.
That both of them were assassinated suggests others were behind the assassinations and not the ones who pulled the triggers. It makes me sad and frustrated that there are people who are so blinded by stupidity that they do not see value when it is staring at them in the face. The Kennedys would have made a difference not only in the United States but in the world as well.
The children of the people who ordered both assassinations are still causing grief in this country and on this planet. One guess as to which social strata they belong. Hint: we ain't in their club.
How sad their deaths. A great honorable family ! May they keep alive and stronger more and more and forever. The America and world need their TRUTH, dedication, and courage.
