You know Kevin you’re an outstanding actor and people love you and the show. 12 million seems to be a great offer it would be great if you stayed on for your fans. I am sure your show Horizon will be great but I’m Curious have you ever done anything for your fans? We don’t have a lot of good things going on in this world right now and to look forward to watching the show sure makes a lot of people happy in this miserable world right now. Speaking as one of your fans we hope you reconsider and continue to film and take that 12 million. It sure would make millions of people happy to have one thing to look forward to once a week. There is no controversy. Costner is working on a massive new multi film franchise that he is directing and also starring in so he won’t have time for other projects.

John Dutton doesn't pretend to be a hero and he is always upfront about his intentions. The mindset of the people who see him as a hero is scary. I respect the honesty of the character and his ability to know what the right thing is and is honest about why he won't do the right thing. His priority is the ranch. It surpasses his own personal health and needs and the needs of his family. He has a King mentality and he's all about keeping the kingdom

I will never understand how an actor leaves successful show instead of riding it to the end.

I didn't even realize there was a controversy. But I guess more drama is fun.

1883 was amazing and I only started on Yellowstone after that. It started getting ridiculous after a few seasons. Thankfully 1923 is around to fill a gap now but YS has well jumped the shark

I love Costner, will keep watching him for sure. haven't seen yellowstone yet(behind a paywall), but I'll probably just watch the seasons he's in and no more. I think people will continue to watch, but for personal reasons(agreeing with the family in the series)

The last couple of seasons have been limping along in the weeds, effectively forgetting the bigger brushstrokes that the series was founded on. It’s has to end in the core issue of the ranch, and with it John, surviving or dying.

I wish they'd leave on good terms so that they can come back later - 2, 3, 4 years from now. We still have plenty of back story before we're tired of the Dutton's. But, if they do something terrible to John Dutton, I won't forgive them.

In the Yellowtone Universe it has become obvious that Taylor Sheridan loves to use suicide to make plot adjustments, it has been in all of his Yellowstone shows. Costner has been telegraphing his intent on a regular basis. If Sheridan or the Production Company can be dishonest and dishonor Kevin Costner, no one in the Yellowstone universe cast in un touchable, that includes Harrison Ford, Helen Mirren, Faith Hill and her husband the Country Music Star spouse Tim McGraw, they were clearly expecting their series to be longer than just one season. If they can pull a surprise on Kevin Costner and Tim McGraw and Faith Hill - Sheridan feels secure enough to do this to anyone he pleases. So do not be surprised if a plot device surfaces requiring John Dutton (Kevin Costner) considering suicide. Is that what Jamie Dutton Faced? The suicide option appears very often in Sheridan's writing. If he is not fair to Kevin Costner, no one in the series is untouchable by suicide.

Ok Good for Costner's life, he should not drive this production and show the writing should. Get a replacement please, there are fantastic actors in our world that would love to stand in for him. If he does not want the job or can no longer do it so be it. Stop holding that over it heads, get on with the show please, we the fans love this show. He is N O T the only one acting on screen so please stop letting him drive this production!!!😢😮😊

I've tried every season to start watching cables primetime heavyweight as you call it ....... Its so boring and such a tough show for me to stay awake watching I don't think I'll ever get through the first season

Once Kevin leaves the series, there's not one person my wife and I know who will continue watching the show. If they use suicide again, Noone should support anything related to Yellowstone or spinoff. Especially the way its presented and offers nothing educational about the issue. Just irresponsible. Love the rest, but at some point respect who makes something successful and the audience.
