What i did in order to become better at coding is to generate a schedule and keep a 2 day rule where i can take a day off but i cant take two days off. This allows me to be able to stick to habits easier and after a while you start to proactively avoid having to go two days without
@lauroperezjr

I totally agree you only get better is with practice and consistent development! Starting with the smallest amount of coding daily to build up a habit is a great way to make it second nature to keep coding daily even when life has other plans. I love using coding challenges and competitive programming to do small micro programming tasks that help me reinforce algorithms, data structures etc. Awesome video!

Most of these points of disciple and consistency are definitely up there and will always be in terms of how to get better at coding. A personal experience of mine is to consciously make yourself look at the 'why' of whatever functionality that you are implementing and keep coming back to it from a perspective of where it fits in the bigger scheme of things. This makes you present your solution (as needed in most programming teams) in terms that are better understood by most of the people involved. You could keep learning new ways, libraries, frameworks, programming paradigms, languages etc but it's best translated (in my experience) when it's understood even by all members of the team, especially those don't possess the programming know-how of things but can understand terms like 'speed', 'reduced steps/clicks', 'reusability', 'improved Developer Experience' etc

This has been useful, especially when you said that you tend to put money up for something, you tend to take it seriously; I just recently joined a Coding Boot Camp at one of the bigger Universities here in Ohio and we start in May. I had bought plenty of Udemy courses when they were all on sale for like 10 or 20 dollars and I just couldn't find the willingness to complete any of them. However, this coding boot camp is a big chunk of change so I'll probably take it a bit more serious
