Cat Another amazing and in-depth video... I truly love how you always say “DON’T” use a hard ball/object when working in this area.... I tell all my clients this also. Yes and so many Massage therapists do not release the illiacus tendon (the second release she shows us)... for all those that watch this video, this release is SO important if you work at a desk or stand a lot and have low back pain or hamstrings that cramp a lot, and is so effective.... You have an absolutely delightful presentation style. I feel you're speaking directly to me! This come across in the vids I've seen so far. Your illustration inserts are helpful, and your manual manipulations are exemplary. Thank you for teaching!

Hi there Cat! New follower here and I can see these are older videos but I just did the iliacus and psoas after having SI joint, buttock and lower back back for years now and I've gotten so much pain relief from just rolling around on those balls in the areas in this video and even used this hook thing for the muscles inside the hip bowl or iliacus and I do have the fusion w/hardware in the L4L5 and I so wish I'd never had that surgery back in 2008 while in the Army. I just don't understand why the chiropractors don't give us these exercises for pain relief and just crack ya but it's gonna keep going back to the same out of alignment issues if there's muscle imbalances and hot spots. Thank you sincerely for these videos and excuse my terminology and spelling as these are some new names for me. Retired Army sniper/grunt. God bless you Cat!!

I'm so happy to get this message. I'm glad the videos helped you. I'm still making them! In a few days I will release a video on a quick practice for releasing the inner thighs and glutes. That one will be great for you so keep an eye out. It's currently in editing phase. Cheers and best wishes!

I sometimes get an upset or hurting stomach when exercising that I connect with a spot along my spine. Would tight PSOAS be causing this?

Thank you so much for your videos! I did this one and the iliacus release one. I've had acute pain in these areas for almost a month. After the release techniques, what should I do to keep the muscles from trending up again? Are there muscles I need to strengthen?
