Right now I am experiencing three different Cancers. Prostate which they removed. Non-Evasive Bladder Cancer and Renal Cell Carcinoma. My bladder is the only one getting treatment. Called BCG. I am doing great. Exercising everyday. Trying to eat right and now letting myself drown in self pity. Cancer treatments are a lot better so don't give up. My prayers are with everyone.

What is the definition of "surviving" in this case? Living extra 5 years? Or having an expected/normal lifespan? It makes all the difference in the world.
There is no definitive cure for cancer, however it can stop growing, this period of time where there is no further activity in the tumor (if there is still a tumor) is called remission. If a person is in remission for more than 5 years, then he can be declared as cured. But even so, cancer can return at any time.

I had stage 2 kidney cancer had a 10cm tumor on it no signs had to have a open radical nephrectomy. It was found thanks to my GI doctor ordering a scan of my pancris because i had a walnut size tumor there also

I froze mine, no pain , 3 days in bed and that was it, I was the first in the country at my age to do it, problem is the surgeons don't tell you there is another way😮 and the best thing is this procedure doesn't leave any scars
@@bobbobek2098 cool if I'd known I would have tried it. After the surgery I developed a huge bump on top of the incision site. Feels like my gut wants to pop out and the doc tells me it may go away with time or not. But no more cancer tho.

Hi. I had undergone a robotic partial nephrectomy recently because of the small size of the mass about 3cm. Iam doing fine. My docs said they could easily do it because of the robotics.
@@bhavanibhavani2163 I underwent robotic assisted partial nephrectomy in Asian institute of nephrology and urology, Hyderabad. They just removed the tumor part and spared the kidney. Its 10 days post operation and I'm fine.

I’m so scared I went to the dr and they found a spot on my kidney size 9.9 they said it could be a cyst or stone and if it’s a cyst it could be benign but will watch it for six months to see if any changes. I had a urine test all was negative I just wish I had a biopsy.

my grandma died last night after her kidney removal how does that happen? why? the doctors just said that they couldn't control her bleeding but I found it very odd if you could reply that be awesome i didn't get to talk to her before her passing and i feel horrible about it.
bigfrank1996 just came back from bone scan so we shall see what is next. The mass I have is 4.2. Centimeters. About 1 1.2 inches. Amazing that they found it but I was shocked. Never expected that. My dad fell twice last year in may 2019 and hurt his right shoulder took him to the doctor, hospital clinic and nothing they even sent him to an orthopedic and never found anything all they said he had was a Frozen arm and some arthritis that he would be needing therapy that was last year up till November 2019 when he last saw the orthopedic .my dad was in severe pain this march 2020 he ended up going to the hospital had some X-rays done told him he had a fractured wierd cuz all this time with so many xrays done no one could tell us what was wrong with dads right shoulder that keep hurting and was not able to lift up his arm till this last time at the hospital were he was told he has a fractured .He was referred again to an orthopedic (diffrent) for the second time then once he got there he was told by the new x-rays that the orthopedic took that it might be bone cancer we were in shocked he went in because they just had told him he had a fractured from there they said he needed a CT scan and a Bone Scan when we got the results they found a mass on his left kidney and on his right shoulder the one he was complaining for a whole year 😪 until now my dad is still in pain now they want to do a bone marrow biopsy just to confirm its cancer dr said he already knows its cancer that it probably started in the kidney and now went to his bone and lungs but that he just needs the diagnos to treat it since no insurance will cover treatment without a diagnos that's why the biopsy is needed. We are super scared I'm terrified of losing my dad I'm now starting to get anxiety and depression I pray my lord to heal my father and everyone out there with cancer😭 this has been very hard for my family and I 😭 God bless u all
