I would never had guessed that the crazy story that man told at the beginning would actually be legit. It just shows you really do need to have all the facts before you make a judgment on someone.

Dude grew up with a great mother. She had money and he got anything he wanted. Yet he still ended up killing his mother for money. SMH he is one cold hearted person.

Shameful of that dude of plotting a murder against his own mother for a financial gain.

See this why you have to be careful about accusing someone. Everyone reacts differently to trauma it is non linear. They where so sure it was Kurtis and yet he was telling the truth. Tunnel vision can kill an investigation..

Wow, was not expecting that ending, her son is a piece of sh*t, to have your own mother killed just so you can floss for a hot minute, im sure all that money was gone within the 1st month. He didnt even pay dude the $4,200 for killing her, REALLY! Only gave him $70 bucks wth, i wish his mom knew that she had raised a monster who wpuld one day take her life. I wanna know why his mother boyfriend was never charge with cleaning up the blood in the house before police got there and why he didnt make shore she was ok before doing that something doesn't sound right with the boyfriend he should be in jail too

He looked just like her too. It's a shame that she provided for him so he wouldn't feel the need to turn to a life of crime, but he betrayed her due to his own greed. Curtis almost got himself tried and convicted for his actions at the crime scene. The people you think you can trust the most in life are your children. Unfortunately, too many parents find out otherwise.

As soon as you said that her son showed up at the building during what was going on, I thought he may have done it. The thing that bothers me the most is that the lie detector shows that Curtis was being deceptive. That right there makes me so mad bcuz he was completely innocent. I have seen other cases when guilty people are able to pass those tests. Whenever a person says that they won't take a lie detector test, the cops always say that they must be guilty. Everyone should say no to those tests, and everyone should lawyer up even if they are completely innocent. There are just too many cases where the investigators try to solve it fast by just guessing who did it and focus on convicting them. It's so horrible knowing that innocent people go to prison.

RIP Yolanda. Condolences to Curtis and Yolanda's family. To think your own flesh and blood can do this. Vile man.

Curtis is actually Damn LUCKY he jumped up and began fighting the Killer. Because had he laid there quietly and THEN called 911, his story would've been wholly unbelievable. If it already wasn't to begin with?? Just goes to show .... ya never do know. The truth can be stranger than fiction.

Shocking! In the first minutes, before the boyfriend's photo was shown, I said aloud, "Oh, you're guilty." What a horrific betrayal!

Everytime a neighbor is killed, these posters try and make them out like saints. This was a typical neighbor home, screaming and drug and alcohol use...

Whoa... That's cold! Poor woman has her son tell the killer, "make sure that b____ is dead"?! Well, fat lot of good a flashy car's going to do him now. I guess in the dark, the shooter didn't see Curtis because he wasn't supposed to be there and I guess he was focused on her. Damn lucky he didn't accidentally get killed by being on the wrong side of the bed.

Wow... How incredibly sad for the man who fought to save her life. He could have died himself, but he survived, only to be accused and prbly shunned by the entire community for over a year. I can't imagine trying to heal physically and emotionally from those wounds, all while dealing with everything else at the same time. Poor guy.
