One thing you can say about this cover is that "The Killers" have captured the whole power and beat of the track. I just love this track...it's just one of those songs that sticks with you through thick and thin. When a cover works...it's magnificent...this is such a cover...
Sounds awesome......so glad they are putting this out there for this generation to hear, and maybe start listening to the music we listened to in our days growing up......I really don't see a lot of bands that can live up to bands we grew up with...
If I did not know that it is a creation of inxs, I could easily believe that it is creation of the Killers. A cool song. That does not age, that transmutes in time. Only they could make the best cover of this song.

The Killers are a fantastic band that are just as underrated as INXS was in the 80s, who really gathered immense notoriety in their later stage in the 90s, and due Michael Hutchence's tragic suicide. The fact that The Killers are probably the only band that can really make justice covering this masterpiece, says a lot about their similarities.

Wow, normally when I hear established bands do covers, all I think is “oh god, why?”. This was actually kind of awesome. I think Michael Hutchence (RIP) would approve.
can't believe the comments here, I love the Killers and Brandon Flowers, but this song is not for him vocally, shows just how good Michael Hutchence was...Ronnie is amazing on the drums
Hmmm. I'm skeptical about covers in general. This is pretty good, but sorry, in my opinion Brandon Flowers is no Michael Hutchence in terms of stage presence and owning the crowd.

watching this video on presumably a tablet or at best a desktop, that would appear to be the case. As someone who was in the crowd at this concert, I'm going to have to say that's he really did capture the entire arena.
