On the tv performances he's kinda nervous...but when he's doin' live performances at the show...oh my god!he's amazing!I almost cried! Wanna see more Killers concerts in the future!

LOVE IT! It hard to find a band that still actually sings live and is GOOD at signing live :D And brandon's dance moves made me giggle, especially when he was bouncing up and down
wow. brandon flowers is just amazing. his voice is incredible in this performance! and i don't think the look in his eye is fear, i think he just gets really into the songs he sings and this one is really deep and seems really personal. he gives the performance meaning. it wouldn't work if he were calm or smiling or whatever.

The Killers sold out San jose in one day. Why you ask? Its because of live performances like this, and if the killers were considered "indie" expect to see indie hit the main stream. I love this killers, and this song! and damn i wanted tickets!

I think this song is about getting into a (abusive) relationship “Neon tiger” meaning that your partner will show you off to their friends and family. Because neon tigers are shown off in Las Vegas “They promised just to pet you,but don’t let them get you” I think “getting” you means sharing all your secrets and being completely open with your partner “Under the heat of the south west sun” I’m not too sure about this one. I think the “heat” is the feeling of love “Took to the spotlight like a diamond ring” I mean,come on “Strategise to maim you,but don’t let them tame you” I think “maiming” means your partner saying and doing things to degrade you. I’ve been thinking more about it and I think “under the heat of the south west sun” means your partner constantly watching over you. I’m sure we all had it when where we’ve gone out without telling our partner and they’ve sent us 100s of texts asking where we are
First time I heard this album I was so disappointed, I now think it's their best. The more you listen to their albums the more you love the songs, always the case with Killers.
well you have to remember lyrics are basically poems so they're left open to interpretation by the individual. the individual words aren't as important as the feelings evoked by their grouping.

Oh I know they have an additional musician up there, but there are a lot of instruments and sound effects that can be heard when nobody appears to be playing them... especially the synths in this video and the sound effects during the bridge of Spaceman. I think they must just have a track going because their concerts, from what I can tell, are the same way
Completely disagree bud. I think they sound just as dark AND as good on Sam's Town. When You Were Young is the best thing they've done imo. Plus This River Is Wild is outstanding, yet underrated. It probably got slated because the U2 sound isn't deemed to be "cool" today, which may I say is fucking bullshit. Both equally awesome albums.
I agree that he looks terrified, but I think he gets like that when he sings this song, almost like he's pleading to the "neon tiger." Check out other live performances of this song, and you may see what I'm talking about. He's amazing either way!
We went to a concert 29th of may and they do have some additional musicians. This was actually pretty funny because one was really at the back of the stage behind a palm tree..haha Amazing song btw...to bad they didnt play it..
There's an album preview of more than 1 minute in ther german site and mm... what can i say... I dont think AMAZING is enough for what i see comming november 24th...
@verkpunk There many worse groups than that. But in Germany there aren´t many so I don´t know much about their urge to convert someone or other annoyances.
I agree that This river is Wild is underated but Day and Age looks a big improvement- this song is awesome, spaceman also and dustland fairytale which is amazin
