The difference between a hobbyist that says "hey I know my stuff" and a guy that actually KNOWS HIS STUFF!!! I have been keeping fish for over 20 years and have kept a lot of different plecos and Corys!! I learned more in the hour of watching this video that I learned in the last 20 years on my own!!! You sir are ridiculously knowledgeable with your fish keeping!!!! AMAZING VIDEO!!!!!!! So much knowledge and information!!
I just want to say: I've probably watched this video(through) at least 5 times, I've been in this hobby for several years, I work with fish in my professional and personal life... I LOVE this video. THANK YOU Cory and Eric, this is both educational and inspirational(and fun). Life needs more of this. ❤
One of the best fish room tours I've ever seen. I'm not big into plecos, but I love corydoras, and Eric has become my new hero. I need some of those two-line corydoras in my life.
every once in awhile a game changing video comes along...this is one of those thx for doing this Cory, i know you went without sleep and flew way too many miles...but i hope you understand how worth it, it was!!!!!!! an actual expert on his home turf
You guys do not understand how much I have learn in this couple of minutes. I am dealing with some issues in my planted tank and you guys solve it in + 30 min. I know it might be a old video and you might not see it but God!I love you!!!! :D you saved my tank
Omg let me tell you eating 4gs of shroooms and remember seeing this yellow shirt and face before I went off a cliff of a trip is crazy ... both of you guys are the man high fives all the way around and his wife big props to her
What an amazing tour!! i watched it glued to the screen, learned alot. would have been nice to see more from the fishrooms :) thx for all your work cory and safe travels
I just bought some corys online. 6 Venezuelan blacks and 6 albinos. I got them in a 20 gallon and they’re already totally different characters..the albinos are crazy and the blacks and calm and reserved. I really enjoy their little wiggly ways. Plecos are also my favourite and I have some bristlenose, super reds starlights and blue eyed lemons one day I’d love some zebras. Thanks for showing us your beautiful creatures.
WOW! What a cool place and video. Tons of information for somebody who knows nothing. The temp. is important to spawning and other stuff for other fish!...... You guys are so passionate about the fish and their comfort. 💛💚💙💜
Amazing seeing plecos hit the surface as a mass and eat flakes upsidedown. I've literally bever seen that because my plecos are in community tanks so they aint that brave lol
Great video. tons of info. makes me remember when I captured those fish here in Brazil, 20 years ago. not the most colorfull like the zebra plecos. but many diferent species. There was tons of tiger corydoras in my uncles place.
I use Sydney tap water of 7.6 with fine hard akadama substrate that buffers to 6 and all I have to do is add any kind of cory and they will breed in that. They are also highly planted tanks with a constant 0 nitrates. I walked up to my sterbai tank today and watched them for about 10 minutes and they spawned 5 times. Also cleaned one of their canisters and pull out about 100 fry. Put filter guards on the intakes now. Need to pull out the second canister and look in there too. I bet there is another 100 fry in that one too. I started with 4 fish!!!
Another way to heat a heap of tanks is to connect all the tanks to a common sump with a big heater. Here in Australia, heating a room to heat all the tanks is not needed in some times of the year as our temperatures get so high, but sometimes the temps will drop significantly at night, just to rise again the next day. So when the temps are keeping the water warm the heater thermostat keep them off.
Simply amazing. And my wife is bugging me about three aquariums.(55g, 40 breeder, 33L). Thanks for sharing and showing us all the different corys I've never seen.
Best i have found and only thing i do for brush/ black hair algae is simply do big water changes and run no light for two days then minimum light till cleared up , it makes a mess of the tank due to the algae sheds off any surface it was growing so now floting in the tank, I usually put a small hang on filter on the front of the tank and let it run , and pull the filter once a day and rinse
Also for black hair algae ,for plants and some non absorbent thing i use small solution of bleach in warm water let it soak till you see it bleaching , then soak in fresh water double rinse, then lightly air dry, back in tank and all gone in 48 hrs..
Whats up Cory. just placed an order for your easy green for the plants. I love watching your videos. Great tips and like always, awesome fish. Thanks for all you do. Best wishes to you and all your crew. Take care.
