Honestly, I don’t really know much about competitive roller skiing so this could be bs, but I think if they got rid of the poles and tucked they would be more efficient - I guess it depends on wheel regulations which I am ignorant of. Regardless, some advice for roller ski training: it is more efficient on wheels to use more leg power and your body will naturally seek this efficiency - don’t do this, you will train your legs instead of your arms and the arms are far more important on snow
