I was waiting for your reaction ! Your initial thoughts were the same as mine, honestly. I was really scared they'd lose their historical concept and that I wouldn't like their music as much anymore because it is what got me into them in the first place. But I was wrong. I really like this comeback and the whole album is so good ! I really hope we will see more historic stuff in the future, though... But this is the beginning of season 2, season 1 was History of Kingdom, so kind of the background story of each king. This is a new era but they are still kings and their storyline goes on. This mv is actually full of lore (but I'm not sure to understand all of it and I don't know if I ever will 😆) However, they released a reaction to the mv and we actually get some explanations. The coin allows them to travel to other dimensions when they flip it. To what end ? No idea, maybe to stop some grand evil plan or whatever. Also, apparently the kings lost their memories in the process, only Louis remembers because he is immortal, the others are like reincarnations of their past selves (I think but I'm honestly not sure anymore, they could very well have lost their memories when travelling between dimensions 😆) I don't know if you noticed but at some point, all of them are asleep, except for Louis and Hwon later on (no clue what his role in all this is though), so maybe this could mean that those asleep don't remember yet. Towards the end, Dann grabs the coin so it could be that he woke up in the sense that his memories came back or something. They also seem to have evil doubles or something, they already appeared in Black Crown. And Mujin smiling at the end... not sure but maybe he has turned evil after trapping all these demons in his body at the end of Dystopia. And if you listen closely, the broadcasting voice at the end speaks of a virus. Like... what is actually going on ? 😂 Okay, sorry for this long post, it's basically just me rambling about stuff I'm not sure of 🤣
