+Ila Knight Oh my gosh I just saw that you wrote another one of my favorite songs, I'll Be in the Rapture. Loved it when the Inspirations did that one with Marlin Shubert.
Kingsmen were one of the only groups in the modern “Gaither era” to really keep the uptempo vocal stylings of the golden age of the Southern gospel quarters of the 50’s and 60’s. But it seems to me that the quartets were rarely featured on Gaither videos, except for GVB. Whenever they were, though, they stole the show, just like they did here.
They were one f the few groupd left that were still touring at that time. Some groups were very busy at that time and had already made commitments to be elsewhere. Many groups started touring again from the popularity of the Gaither Videos. Kinsman, Kingdom Hiers, Lewis Family had a few appearences, but I am sure it was tough to get them scheduled to be at these events:P

My beautiful wife of 25 years was recently diagnosed with cancer. Thank you dear sister for penning this song. Because this song describes what's on my heart at 3:30 am--because of Jesus' shed blood, we'll see those who know the Lord over on the other side. Hallelujah!!
