This community wallet challenge is hosted by dsleathergoods on Instagram. I decided to go with a stitch pattern that I have not tried before. It's called the Norwegian stitch and I first heard about it from Claridge Leather. You can find a full walkthrough video on his youtube channel.
Head over to my Instagram page to see the final photos. You can purchase the plans for this wallet on Etsy by searching for dsleathergoods shop.

Out of curiosity. Seems like you don’t use edge burnishes and roller knives. Any particular reason?

Do you mean the wood slicker for edges? If so I don’t actually like them…lol. I found they never polished the edge as well as canvas. And roller knife do you mean a head knife? When I started they seemed intimidating so I never bought one, 3 years later I just don’t have a need for one. I don’t use a rotary knife for any of my leatherwork, usually just on canvas.

East European marketing tactics. He sells more expensive than others and most of his works are weird.
